Ritwik holds Palak’s hand. Kal Ho Na Ho plays in the background as Ritwik takes Palak to the mandap. Manjeet ji stands there in shock. Naman and all the guests are surprised to see Ritwik bringing Palak to the mandap followed by Manjeet ji. Ritwik and Palak look at each other. He makes her sit next to Naman and keeps her hand in his. Naman looks at Ritwik as he walks away. Ritwik silently watches Palak follow the rituals. Naman keeps looking at him. Ritwik recalls the moments spent with Palak. He smiles through his tears. Naman keeps looking at Palak and Ritwik. Palak is also in tears. Ritwik walks out of the venue. Setu helps Palak stand up for the varmala ritual. Palak and Naman exchange garlands.
Ritwik fails in composing himself.
Manjeet ji does Palak and Naman’s gathbandhan.
Ritwik rebukes himself. Everyone was right. I deserve this! I found a girl who loved me but I dint trust her. I obviously deserve this! Palak says I agree. Ritwik thinks it to be his imagination. Flashback shows Naman asks Palak if she really wants to do it. She nods sadly. He calls her lucky. The one you love is still alive. You love him, don’t you? Mrs. Kapoor asks him what he says but he can see how much Palak loves Ritwik. Manjeet ji also tries to object but he stops her. Naman recalls seeing the name plate of Ritwik’s name. Setu is also there and ends up saying that Ritwik was Palak’s past. Manjeet ji insists that Palak wants to marry him willingly. Ritwik is her past. Naman knows she is doing it for their sake only. She loves Ritwik. He opens the gathbandhan asking Palak to go. Manjeet ji tells Palak against it but Naman advises Palak not to hear anything. Kamlesh ji also asks Palak to choose her happiness. You don’t have to spend your life with us but with him. Her happiness is important and bigger than your stubbornness. Go. Palak thanks Naman and hugs her father before she rushes out of there. Flashback ends.
Ritwik is in disbelief. Are you sure? She nods. He holds her tight. I surely don’t deserve it. she proposes him for marriage. He agrees. She tells him she wont cook and kill him if he contacts any girlfriend. He accepts all the conditions. They hug sweetly. Palak tells Ritwik she will love him a lot. We will do everything for this relationship. He says I wont let you go away even if you try to. She tells him she wont leave him. He goes quiet seeing her family there. Shivam says seems like Salim Anarkali are together. You forgot me after finding her? Rohit asks Ritwik what they will do next. Ritwik says we will marry if uncle allows. Kamlesh ji happily says yes. Everyone smiles.
Mrs. Kapoor asks Naman why he let her go. Naman says they both love each other. They should be together.
Ritwik suggests going back inside as everything is set already. I don’t want to delay it anymore. I couldn’t live up to my promise every time in the past. Kamlesh ji asks about his parents but Ritwik is sure his family will accept Palak happily when they will find out about the agreement. Palak is worried about her mother but Kamlesh ji agrees to pacify her. Rohit calls Ritwik lucky to marry in the mandap. Ritwik says you aren’t Ritwik Noon after all.
Ritwik brings Palak inside. Naman asks them to get married as everyone is here already. You are such a drama! God bless you! Ritwik thanks him with a hug.
Ritwik and Palak look at each other sweetly during the rituals. During their varmala, Rohit and Shivam ask Ritwik not to bend his head or he will have to do that his entire life. Ritwik happily lowers his head as Palak says please. They exchange garlands. Mr. Puri calls Rishabh and tells him everything. I was trying VP’s number but he isn’t picking my calls. Rishabh tells him not to call Dad. He is busy with mom. I will handle everything.
Rishabh goes to VP’s room. Mamta asks him if there is any news about Ritwik. Rishabh tells them that Ritwik is marrying Palak right now. VP is shocked to hear it. Without us? Mamta tells him not to overreact. VP is unhappy that Ritwik chose Palak over them. I was about to go to that house to ask for that girl’s hand but he is marrying her already, that too when we aren’t there. He chose her over us? Rishabh adds fuel to the fire. Mamta reasons that no one will force anything upon anyone. If Ritwik has married Palak then we have to accept Palak.
Palak and Ritwik happily take pheras around the holy fire. Ritwik applies vermilion on her hairline and makes her wear the mangalsutra. Naman smiles. Ritwik and Palak seek Kamlesh ji’s blessings. They begin talking about their wedding to each other happily. Rohit tells them to stop any further drama or he will have heart attack. Manjeet ji comes there. Palak tells her that she met many people upon her askance but never fell for them so she never said yes for them. I am happy now as I love the guy I have married. Can you not be happy for my sake? Manjeet ji nods. I have a wedding gift for you. Police walks in.
Precap: Manjeet ji has locked Palak in a room. Kamlesh ji takes the key and heads towards the door. Manjeet ji refuses to accept the wedding. Kamlesh ji reasons that her saying so wont change the truth. They are married. He unlocks the door. Manjeet ji shouts that this wedding can never be successful. Kamlesh ji asks her if this is how she will bless her daughter. Manjeet ji says there wont be any such curse. Palak tells her it wont affect her or Ritwik ever. We will always be together. She leaves.
