Lavanya accuses Deepika of trying to spoil Jahnvi’s pooja. Chirag hears that and asks if she can’t start her day without yelling at Deepika. Lavanya further accuses Deepika of spoiling her relationship with her son. Jahnvi tells Lavanya that they are getting late for tula daan. Lavanya leaves. Deepika cheers Chirag up and asks him to leave for Bangalore while she goes to temple. Chirag leaves. Mishka joins Deepika and insists to accompany her to temple. Deepika reveals that she is fasting with a wish for a baby. They head for temple.

At temple, Lavanya performs Jahnvi’s tula daan and prays for a rightful heir via Jahnvi. Panditji asks Jahnvi to visit temple with Deepika and earn virtue. Jahnvi warns him to mind his own business. Panditji informs her about

a ritual after which she will surely bear a child. Jahnvi says she doesn’t believe in all this and insults him again. Panditji says if Deepika is a day, she is a dark night. Deepika reaches temple and hearing about the ritual performs it by doing parikrama on her knees. Devotees praise her devotion. Lavanya asks who is being praised. Neelima says who else than their elder DIL. Lavanya frowns.

Deepika collapses while performing parikrama. People gather around her. Neelima tries to help Deepika, but Lavanya acting her usual looney self takes Neelima from there. Mishka wakes up Deepika. Deepika greets Panditji and leaves from there. She feels weak and sits. Mishka gives her contraceptive pills saying it’s multivitamins and asks her to take 1 pill a day without fail to prepare her body for the baby. In car, Lagjaa Gale… song plays on FM. Deepika says it’s her favorite song. Mishka says it was also someone else’s favorite song and recalls Chirag’s girlfriend also loving this song and she malfunctioning Chirag’s car brakes and killing Chirag’s girlfriend in an accident.

Deepika reaches home. Chirag calls her. Deepika says she was missing him. Chirag says that is why he called her. She notices flowers and says she loves them. Chirag recalls gifting flowers to this girlfriend and gets sad. He tells Deepika that he wants to discuss about his past with her. She says she doesn’t want to know about his past and wants to be with him in his future.
