Teni insists on Chutkan to be her dance partner. Chutkan was worried about his girlfriend Dolly, but Teni didn’t listen.
Parth returns home thinking about Teni, he hits a servant and shouts at him. Indu watches him frustrated, and asks if he considers it right to be Teni’s guarantor. Parth asks if it would matter to her? He has no right to stop Teni, he can only speak to her about the matter. He gets a call from Mr. Shukla and reminds him about the night party in office for New Year. Parth recalls and leaves home for something important.
In the chawl, Chutkan shows his dance to Teni. Teni watches helplessly worried. She curses Chutkan for not knowing dancing. She says she will teach Chutkan the dance. She makes him practice couple dance. Chutkan continue to roll Teni. She was about

to fell down when Parth comes and holds her in his arms. Chutkan claps, while Teni goes to slap him. Teni reminds Parth about their dance, and asks to show it to Chutkan. Parth smiles while dancing with Teni. They share an eye lock. Chutkan claps as they beat any hero-heroine couple. He requests Parth to save him as well now, and become couple for dance. Teni decides about it. Parth apologizes as there is a party in his office, he came to take her for the party. Teni says the competition is very important for her, its her last year in Chawl. Teni suggest he should leave the party, and decides they must attend their own parties separately.
At home, Parth speaks to Ipshita that it’s so difficult to understand her Teni, she has no time to come to his office party. Dada and Dadi come at the door and smiles as Parth speaks about Teni with Ipshita. Ipshita begins to cry, Parth takes her into his arms. Dada ji asks if he isn’t yet ready for party. Dadi takes Ipshita as Indu will take care of her. Dada ji tells him to invite Teni as well, Parth complains she has no time as there is a party in the chawl as well. Upon inquiry, Parth tells Dada ji he asked her by the way when he spoke to her.
Jalpa was waiting for Bharat at home, he returns home drunk. Jalpa was concerned about him, but Bharat jerks her hands away. Bharat says it doesn’t matter what he does now, she has finished everything in their relation. He holds her hands, kissing them and says he is a simple and weak man. She is his biggest weakness. He loves her truly and dearly. Jalpa cries and says she also loves him a lot. Bharat calls it a lie, as she must not have betrayed him otherwise. Still they can’t negate that they can’t live without each other. Still they must part ways, he can no more pose that everything is fine. He hugs Jalpa saying living without her is very difficult.
The party in the chawl begin. Teni calls Chutkan but he comes from behind. Teni says Chutkan appears to be a joker. Chutkan says he thought he looked like Shahrukh Khan. They watch the performances, Teni was worried that everyone is performing so well. Chutkan assures Teni for the best performance. Two guys come to joke about Chutkan’s dance. Teni boasts their performance will be the best. Chutkan was nervous. Teni was upset that if Parth was there, she could have shown her talent to them. Parth stood at the entrance of dance competition.
