Dispelling Rumors: No new leap or exit in store for TV show Imlie; Confirms Karan Vohra
Speculations have been circulating that the popular TV show Imlie is set for another leap, with the current actors making their exit and a fresh cast taking over. In a recent interview, lead actor Karan Vohra dismissed these claims as baseless. He clarifies, “I have received numerous calls about this today, but it is simply not true. Our show recently underwent a leap just two months ago, and there are no plans for another leap or any exits. I am not leaving the show. At present, we are doing well, and there are no such changes happening.”
Imlie had previously taken a significant leap of five years a few months ago, resulting in Karan Vohra and Megha Chakraborty’s characters becoming parents to a five-year-old daughter in the show. In September 2022, the series had witnessed a generation leap when Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan, who portrayed the lead roles, bid farewell to the show.
On a personal note, Karan Vohra recently embraced fatherhood with the arrival of twin babies. The actor is currently in his hometown of Delhi, visiting his wife and children. He shares, “I plan to spend 2-3 days a month with them until they accompany me back to Mumbai. I am relishing the experience of taking care of my babies and cherishing quality time with my wife.” In a previous interview, Karan had expressed, “When I joined the show, my wife informed me that she was pregnant. It was a joyous moment for me both personally and professionally.”
