Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya Set to Return to India After Robbery Incident in Italy

Popular television couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya, who recently garnered attention after being robbed of their passports, important documents, and cash, are finally preparing to return to India. The couple announced the news on social media, sharing a photo of themselves holding emergency passports issued by the authorities.

Divyanka and Vivek expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their followers, posting, “Heading to Bharat soon. We want to thank ‘You’ for your overwhelming love and support. A big thanks to the Indian Embassy for making our ‘Ghar Wapasi’ possible. Your support means the world to us.”

The unfortunate incident occurred earlier this week in Florence, where their car was broken into and their belongings were stolen. The theft took place while their vehicle was parked outside a resort, with the thieves making off with their passports, important documents, cash, and other valuables.

In response to the robbery, Divyanka reached out to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, expressing her disappointment: “Dear PM Ms Giorgia Meloni, we were passionately touring Italy until we got robbed and reported to the police. But robberies are being taken so casually here that we have already lost hope and enthusiasm. How will I & my people ever gather the courage to revisit Italy?”

The couple’s return to India signals the end of a challenging chapter in their European adventure, and they are eagerly anticipating reuniting with their loved ones.
