The show starts with Shivani trying to make the wick and light the earthen lamps for diwali. Ginni tells her Latha to explain to Shivani and they seek the help of Raghu to stop Shivani from doing all these as she may get burnt. Shivani is adamant on her decision and wants to do it. Raghu tries his best to stop her but she says she can manage and no need for any help it is time for him to think about himself and his life. One day or other she should leave and who’ll help her? Raghu says whenever she will need help he will always be present.
Shivani thinks when she will leave Raghu will feel bad but this is the best for him. Raghu thinks a small he brought may make Shivani happy though he can’t buy something like Balwant. Latha tells them to join
The prayer begins with the arti and Bela notices that Raghu watch is missing, she asks him and he said he gave it for repair as there was some problems. They all sit for the prayers and Shivani recollects the words of Balwant while Latha begins to chant the prayer. Raghu and Shivani do the arti together.
They all rush outside to crack the crackers Shivani feels afraid with the sound of the crackers…
Raghu as always tries to comfort her.
Ginni and Maya give her some crackers to light on but as she’s scares of them she does not want to light them.. . Raghu tries to explain to Ginni and Maya to leave it as shivani is not used to all these. Shivani notices everyone is laughing at her as she’s afraid.
Shivani decides to try to light one saying she’s not that poor spirited.She tries to light one and finds it fun she continues to light one after another. A cracker does not burst and she leaves it to light an another standing near the the one which did not burst. Slowly it begins to make some few sparks and Raghu notices it. He runs and picks it to throw as it may hurts Shivani and in this process Raghu hand gets burnt.
They all rush inside to give the first aid to Raghu and Bela gets angry on Raghu saying Shivani is not a child that she would not have been able to move away. Raghu says she would have been hurt. Bela is in no mood to hear Raghu and once again asks Raghu to swear upon her where’s his watch he says he sold it. Latha stops Bela to talk further saying she’s stuck with Raghu watch… Bela gets angry and goes inside. Shivani feels bad for what happened.
PRECAP:
Raghu is sleeping and shivani slowly comes near him with a coin in her hand saying she feels really bad to leave like that she says sorry slowly and opens the main door slowly and leaves.
