Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently got two old characters back. Lav and Kush joined the Goenka family after many years. They have spent their childhood in the hostel, when they were disheartened with Kartik and Naira’s separation due to Naira’s assumed death. Lav and Kush were two adorable cuties of the show, when they were seen as little kids before the leap. Their re-entries as grown ups don’t bring any interesting twists. Still, since the characters were spoken about since long and had to return to the family, the makers eventually got the twins back home.
Lav and Kush get a total change of personality. They aren’t adorable or sweet like before. They are seen as arrogant, spoilt and isolated individuals. They don’t like family time. The show brings the track of handling sensitive phase of teen age. Kartik and Naira want to turn Lav and Kush into matured and responsible persons. Lav and Kush’s much awaited track lacks the charm.
