The episode starts with Krishna addressing Yashoda as Doosri maa/second mother and inviting her to perform Mala’s shanti pooja. Yashoda and Krishna perform pooja. Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi Hairan Hoon Nain.. song plays in the background. Krishna recalls quality time spent with his mother Mala. Panditji informs that pooja is complete, they all should pray for the peace of Mala’s soul, fix Mala’s photo with other dead people’s photo, pray god to send Mala to their house in one or the other form, and asks Yashoda to break a coconut at the door step so that Mala’s soul can can enter any time.
Suresh says he is Mala’s sinner who never accepted her while she was alive. Malti says they will accept Mala as their daughter and in any form she would like to return. Yashoda walks to the door step and breaks coconut. Ashok walks to her. She stands shocked and emotional seeing him. Paas Aaye Dooriyaan Phir Bhi Kam Na Hui.. song plays in the background. Family gets happy seeing him.
Ashok seeks alms from Yashoda and says he is sinner of them all and deserves punishment, so he will go away from their lives permanently after he receives alms from Yashoda. Yashoda asks who is he. Malti walks towards Ashok. Suresh stops her and says Ashok is Yashoda’s sinner, so let Yashoda take a decision. Krishna says Ashok is a big coward who ran away from his responsibilities, so Yashoda shouldn’t give him alms.
Yashoda refuses to give alms to Ashok. Ashok says he will not go from there until she gives him alms and will die at the door itself. He pleads her to free him and let him go forever. Yashoda walks inside the house. Krishna tongue lashes Ashok next. Ashok pleads him to convince Yashoda to give him alms. Krishna closes door. Neighbors notice him and tongue lash him for troubling Yashoda so much and support Yashoda’s decision.
Precap: Ashok’s guru tells gupta family that if they don’t give charity to Ashok, Ashok has to wander for 13 years begging and only then they will accept Ashok as a sadhu.
