Scene 1

Mansi wakes up and recalls Sudha’s words about Doree’s bracelet. She says Doree is my daughter, I have to go and hug her.

Doree says to herself that she won’t listen to baba today. Mansi sees her going away and runs behind her. She cries and hugs her tightly. Doree is confused and says I have to go. Mansi asks if she found her bracelet? Doree says it wasn’t my bracelet, my identity is about my father only, I have to find him. Mansi says it must be your bracelet only. Doree says I have to search for my father, she runs from there. Mansi is confused and says how can a mother be wrong? why is this happening with me. I feel like I have lost my daughter again.

Devi shouts at Prasad to get lost from her house. Anand is dragging him out, he tells Prasad that

her ego is going to destroy her family. You don’t respect daughters so your honor will be tarnished soon. You still have time to accept blessings which are daughters. Anand takes him away. Devi is scared.

Doree runs to Prasad. Anand tells her to take her father away before he kills him, he leaves. Mansi sees Prasad all beaten up. she throws some saree at him. Prasad thinks she was wearing this saree when she met Doree, what if Doree belongs to this house? He takes her from there.

Doree gives water to Prasad and hugs him. She says why did you hide that you are not well? Dadi says we are in trouble. What will we do now? Prasad tells Doree that he won’t let her go anywhere now, stay with me. I will give you everything. Doree says just promise me that you will see my face every morning, promise me you will sing lullaby for me, promise me to always come to me when I ask you, promise me to always be with me, promise me to always support me. He promises her. Doree does his aarti and helps him. He tells her that he won’t leave her. Doree says you can’t leave me alone now, Prasad says you are my life, nobody can snatch you from me, I will fulfil my promises. Doree says then you have to get checked from the doctor. Prasad faints. Dadi cries for help, a man comes there and takes him to the hospital.

Prasad is brought to the hospital. He sees Dai brought there and thinks she can tell me what happened with Mansi. The inspector tells Dadi that I came here for that Dai who stole Mansi’s daughter, she is paying for her sins now as she is not well. Doree prays for Prasad’s health.
