When the makers announced Sanjivani 2, the fans were thrilled and excited to see what they have in store. But from it’s very inception, the numbers are not that great. The makers are having a hard time spotting the show in the top 20 TRP fetching shows. With a stellar star cast and a great time slot, Sanjivani 2 is not creating the magic it should have.
Now the latest buzz is that actress Rashmi Singh, who is currently seen playing the role of Dr. Asha Kanwar will soon be replaced by Chandni Bhagwanani. Chandni was last seen in Roop: Mard ka naya Swaroop and gathered a lot of praises for her work.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Chandni said,”It is difficult to replace someone because people have already accepted him/her in that role. Though I love challenges, I am a bit nervous as I will be facing the camera almost after a year and that, too, with a character, someone else has already established. However, I will not treat it as a replacement, and will approach it as a new character and will play it my own way.”
On the idea of being replaced in a show, she said, “I have been replaced a lot of times. I was disheartened when I was replaced in ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ and then in Dream Girl. However, that’s a part and parcel of this profession. I, too, had replaced Hansika Motwani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.”
