Scene 1
Durga and Charu run. Sampurna says Bondita.. She’s shocked. Durga and Charu hide. They eat rasgullas. She recalls Bondita. Durga and Charu eat the rasgulla together. Sampurna cries. She asks Durga what are you doing here? Charu hudes. She says this is my friend Charu. Binoy says hello to our Durga friend. Durga says Charu knew I was scared. She called me and came home. Binoy says our Durga is so happy. She didn’t speak so much in 5 years. Durga says I am the happiest now. We had so much fun. She talks happily. Sampurna is confused. Binoy says she’s so happy. Charu is her happiness. She’s not a stranger. The hearts should sync. Sampurna says what are you doing here? Why were you running? Polash comes there. He says I caught you. Now Sumona will give you a lot
Charu comes to the orphanage and tells kaka she had such a good day. He says I am happy for you. Chumki is mad at Charu. Charu says you were asleep. Charu says I will tell kaka our parents are alive. Charu says shut up. He will send her to Bholi. You wanna go there? Chumki says no I was joking. We will go to Durga tomorrow. She says no they invited one person only.
Polash comes to Sumona. She says she ruined my face. Sumona says I will kill her tomorrow. Polash says see what I do tomorrow.
Scene 2
Charu tells kaka she’s going to Durga’s place. he says you look very nice. She asks why are you cooking? He says I am making this for my ancestors. He says I will give it to the birds and they will send it to my parents. Charu says I will do the same then. Charu leaves. Sampurna and Binoy start the pooja. Durga waits for Charu. She tells Sampurna I am so happy. I’ll call her here every day. Binoy says pandit ji is on his way. Sumona says if Durga becomes brave we will be kicked out. Durga goes to bring stools from the store.
The scary man comes to the store again. He throws a ladder at Durga. Charu saves her. Charu says are you okay? She’s in shock. She recalls the store. Binoy asks are you okay? Charu says to leave your fear behind. Don’t be scared. Tell me are you okay? Durga hugs Charu and cries. Charu gives her water. She says close your eyes. Sumona tells Polash thanks for scaring Durga. I know you’re the beast who scares Durga. Durga’s hand is injured. Charu applies cream to it. Charu sees Bondita and Anirudh’s picture. She says maa papa. She gets teary. She says why do I feel like family about them? She asks Sampurna what happened to them. Sampurna says an accident. Durga and Charu do the pooja together. Charu says I see my mom in her. My mom isn’t alive either. Sumona says enough. Why is she doing pooja with Durga? It will be pure. We don’t even know her. What’s her caste? Class? Race? Charu says I am a human. Did you ask the caste of people who got these things for you? We made these races. God made humans. We are all equal. Sampurna recalls Bondita used to speak like that. Scene 2
Charu and Durga play together. Sumporna is happy. She brings them food. Charu says it’s my birthday too. Sampurna is shocked. She says is Charu our lost Devi?? Sampurna asks really? She says yes. She does their arti. Sampurna asks what happened to your parents? She recalls her dad and Bholi. She says I’ve never seen them. Samrpuna says okay. Sampurna says how many coincidences happen together. Is this a sign from God? God has sent Charu as our devi or is Chaur Devi? She says I need to be sure of it before telling Durga. Durga says will you always stay with me? She says yes. Durga says I get scared when I sleep. Charu says you will see dreams of becoming a lawyer, not scary dreams. Their hands hurt at the same place.
