Scene 1
Durga cries. Charu recalls her moments with Durga. They both cry. Chumki winks and Sumona. Sampurna says, Charu stop please. She says what’s left to listen maasi? She recalls she said she will call her maasi. She says kaki. Durga cries on the other side. She says kaki you know I’ve fallen from ropes many times but it never hurt like this. The way it did today. She called me a cheater and someone who misuses people. She shoved me in my eyes. It’s hurting me a lot. She says Durga has hurt my heart. She says let’s go, Chumki. Sampurna tries to stop her but she leaves. Sumona says I am so smart. Durga says I am sorry Charu. I had to do this for Chumki.

Scene 2
Durga comes to the school. Sampurna says you have to go on the stage alone. Durga says

I will sing with courage, promise. The show starts. She recalls Charu saying 200 people will clap for you. She sees kids practicing around. She recalls Charu used to close her eyes and recall her parents. The kids make fun of her if she would sing like a donkey crying. He says sing for us or we will tear your paper. She says return my paper. Durga recalls Charu saying never to be scared of anyone. Durga grasps his collar. The kids are shocked. She says if you tear my paper, I will tear your shirt. He gets scared and returns in. She shoves him and says I will sing on stage and you will clap for me. Everyone claps for her. Durga goes on the stage. Jatin says I will teach her a lesson.

Charu thinks about Durga. She recalls it’s Durga’s singing competition today. Charu cries. She hears anklet. She sees Chumki dancing. Charu says what are you doing. Where did you get this anklet from? She says from Dehli. Charu says we didn’t bring it. Charu says you stole it from Durga’s house. Tell me or I will hang you upside down. She says Sumona gave it. Charu says she would never give anyone anything. Tell me or I will hit you. Chumki tells her everything. She says this is why Durga fought with you. Charu cries. She says what? That is why Durga did that.

Durga’s name is announced on the stage. The host says Durga will tell about her mom. Her mom is a pride of this school. Durga will tell a poem about her. Durga is shocked because she was supposed to sing. Jatin says Ir replaced the list. Durga is confused. She gets behind the mic. Jatin says she can’t say anything. She practiced singing. Durga says ma.. She stands confused. Charu says what is a mother? Durga says, Charu. Sampurna and Binoy get happy. Charu walks up the stage. She holds Durga’s hand. Charu says what is a mother? Is it a relationship only or a name? Durga says the mother is a universe. She hides you when you’re scared. Chaur says she feeds you. Durga says she makes you eat. They sing a poem for her. Sampurna cries. Durga says mothers are sweeter than the rasgulla. Charu says she covers us when we are cold. She gives us happiness. They all sing the poem together. Everyone claps for them. Binoy and Sampurna get teary. Charu hugs Durga. Durga says I am sorry Charu. I hurt you a lot. Charu says I know why you did that. Durga says I can see the whole world from your eyes. The host announces Durga as the winner. Durga hugs Charu. Everyone claps for them.

Scene 3
Durga and Charu enjoy sweets at the market. Binoy and Sampurna give them toys and gifts. Bholi comes to the same market. She asks where is the orphanage. Sampurna give her locket to Charu. Charu says I can’t take it. She says I can’t take expensive gifts. Sampurna says I am your maasi maa. You can’t say no to maa. She makes her wear it. Bholi sees Charu. She’s shocked.

Precap: Bholi comes with Chumki, says my daughter come here Charu. Charu whispers to Bholi, go away or else I will tell everyone what you did, Bholi threatens her back. 
Durga gets upset and says to Charu, will you have to leave now, let me hug you tightly so that I feel you are around me.
