Anurag notices a red mark on the glass given to Durga by Panibai and questions Anubhav about it. Anubhav admits he noticed it too and points out that Durga’s sharbat looks darker. Anurag agrees, stopping Durga from drinking it by knocking the glass from her hand.
Panibai demands to know why Anurag did that. Anurag confronts her, asking why Durga’s glass is marked with a red dot while the others aren’t. Panibai claims it must have been accidental. Anurag expresses his suspicion that something is wrong with the glass and declares his intent to send it for forensic testing.
Madhav supports Anurag, stating that Panibai is capable of deceit. Panibai, offended, argues with Madhav. Vikram intervenes, accusing Anurag of imposing his decisions. Anurag defends his actions, explaining he’s only concerned about Durga’s safety.
Durga tries to defuse the situation, asking Panibai to let it go. She requests another glass of sharbat, but Panibai refuses and makes snide remarks. Durga decides to clean up the broken glass herself. Secretly, she collects a small sample of the sharbat from the broken glass.
Later in her room, Durga notices the red mark on the glass again and resolves to stay cautious. She transfers the remaining sharbat into a small bottle, determined to send it for testing.
The next morning, while walking to college, Anurag offers Durga a ride. She reminds him they agreed not to leave the house together. Anurag insists, saying it’s her first day at college and he wants to support her. Durga declines, making a sharp remark but standing firm.
Meanwhile, Vikram visits the place where Durga’s mother is being held. Scolding his henchmen for slacking, Vikram learns that Jariburi visited Durga’s mother. Furious, he orders them to ensure no one meets her without his permission.
Inside, Durga’s mother shouts, demanding to see her daughter. The henchmen complain to Vikram about her repeated pleas. Vikram orders them to bring her to him.
When brought before Vikram, Durga’s mother begs to see Durga, but Vikram coldly denies she has a daughter. She argues, curses him, and he retaliates with harsh words.
Later, Anurag and Durga discuss the sharbat. Anurag regrets not saving any for testing, but Durga reveals she secretly kept some. She hands it over to Anurag, who promises to send it to the forensic lab.
Anurag again offers to drop Durga at college, saying it’s her first day. Durga reminds him they are from different worlds and shouldn’t do this. Anurag reflects on her words but advises her to focus on her studies and make new friends.
PreCap: Panibai asks Durga who did she go college with and tells her that she was seen going with Anurag. Dadi says to Durga that her roaming with Anurag will spoil his image and will create problems in his marriage. Dadi tells Durga that they are getting Anurag wedded soon.
