Durga reflects on everything that has happened. She thinks to herself that Anurag will eventually marry someone else, but their secret marriage will remain in her heart. She decides that she will always wear Sindhur in her hairline for Anurag’s well-being. As Durga is about to apply the Sindhur, Panibai suddenly shouts at her. Startled, Durga drops the Sindhur, and it spills into the air, falling over her.
Panibai sees this and immediately confronts Durga, asking why she is putting Sindhur in her hairline and reminding her that she is a widow. She accuses Durga of thinking about Anurag while applying Sindhur. Durga nervously replies that it was an accident, but Panibai refuses to believe her. Panibai scolds her further and insists she come downstairs to show everyone what she has done.

Savitri also questions Durga. Durga tries to explain that when she was married to Rajesh, it was her habit to put Sindhur in her hairline, and today it accidentally happened. Panibai taunts Durga, saying she seems to remember everything but conveniently forgot that she is a widow.
Anurag arrives and sees the commotion. He asks everyone why they are shouting. Panibai tells him to look at Durga. Anurag notices the Sindhur in Durga’s hairline, and Panibai again criticizes Durga for wearing Sindhur despite being a widow.
Anurag defends Durga, saying she must have her reasons for it. Savitri interjects, saying that Durga claimed it was just a mistake. Panibai comments sarcastically, and Aarthi tells Durga to go and wipe off the Sindhur. Durga says she will go to the washroom, but Indira insists that Durga wipe it off in front of everyone.
Panibai takes matters into her own hands and wipes off the Sindhur from Durga’s hairline with her hand. She then orders Durga to clean the rest with soap and sends her away.
After Durga leaves, Vikram turns to Anurag and instructs him to get ready, saying Suhani and her family are coming to meet him. Anurag, surprised, asks who Suhani is. Vikram reminds him that Suhani is the girl he has chosen for Anurag’s marriage.
Vikram warns Anurag that he has only allowed Durga to stay in the house because of Anurag’s request. He makes it clear that if Anurag causes any trouble with this wedding arrangement, he will withdraw all support for Durga. Left with no choice, Anurag reluctantly agrees to his father’s demand.
Precap: Vikram approaches Anurag and mentions Suhani, the woman with whom he has finalized his marriage. He firmly reminds Anurag that the only reason Durga is staying in their home is because he, Vikram, had personally intervened and allowed it to happen at Anurag’s request. Vikram warns Anurag that if he causes any disruptions or problems during the upcoming wedding, Vikram will withdraw his support for Durga entirely. Realizing the seriousness of Vikram’s words, Anurag reluctantly agrees, understanding the implications of going against him in this matter.
