Anurag approaches Durga and questions why she didn’t inform him that she was leaving. He tells her he tried calling, but she didn’t answer. Durga explains she was in class. She then asks where his car is, and Anurag says it bothers him that she travels to college by bus while he drives a car. Durga points out the status difference between them, but Anurag dismisses it. He asserts it’s his choice what to accept and comments further, adding he hasn’t been able to talk to her since the incident. He mentions she didn’t come to his room, to which Durga retorts that it’s unreasonable to expect her to do so without facing questions.
Recalling the situation at home, Anurag admits he doesn’t want to marry Suhani. Durga asks why he’s telling her this, and Anurag says she’s the only one he can talk to. He reveals Vikram’s condition—that he won’t support Durga if Anurag refuses the marriage—and admits he’s at a loss. Durga advises him to marry Suhani, but Anurag criticizes how easily she says it, expressing frustration. He wishes he could take her far away but hesitates, fearing it would disrupt her studies. Durga responds, commenting on his words.
Meanwhile, Vikram spots them talking on the street and decides to intervene. He meets Dr. Aditi Agarwal at a restaurant, where she questions why he called her. Vikram confesses he loves her. Aditi retorts that despite his love, he didn’t marry her. She accuses him of ruining her life, mentioning that her son avoids her and people once thought she was his mistress. She demands he sever all ties with others if he truly wants to be with her. Vikram defends himself, asking if she’s ever considered his pain, to which Aditi reacts. Changing the subject, Vikram claims Durga is determined to destroy his family.
Back at home, Durga learns that Anurag and Suhani’s wedding has been finalized. Panibai asks her to distribute sweets. Later, Anurag arrives and finds out about the arranged marriage.
