Anubhav asks Panibai about her son, while Indira questions if he’s alive. Panibai replies that Savitri knows and will explain. Anubhav asks Savitri to clarify. Savitri accuses Panibai of ruining her reputation but refuses to engage in the matter. She accuses Panibai of destroying her marriage and demands her family throw Panibai out. Panibai warns that if she leaves, she’ll take their reputation with her.
Anubhav visits Rajesh’s house, where Meera greets him, surprised by his visit. Anubhav says he’s there to meet Durga. Rajesh’s aunt informs him Durga isn’t home, explaining that Rajesh took her on a trip. Anubhav questions how Rajesh could do this, given his scrutiny by the people’s court. The aunt claims ignorance and asks why Anubhav seeks Durga. He says it’s Bhai Dooj and leaves, while Meera watches.
Aarthi asks Anurag if he plans to leave. Anurag explains the villagers are forcing him out due to their views about him saving Durga. He insists they’re wrong. Aarthi accuses him of avoiding association with Durga. Anurag denies this, stating Durga didn’t willingly marry Rajesh and adding that Rajesh wouldn’t have tried to harm her if he truly loved her. Aarthi blames Durga for her plight.
Meera informs Anubhav that Rajesh mentioned taking Durga to Rathore Mansion. Anubhav notes they haven’t arrived yet, worrying Meera. She suspects Rajesh took Durga to his godown, where he punishes people. Fearing for Durga, Anubhav decides to tell Anurag.
Anurag packs to leave. Panibai questions Aarthi about stopping him. Anurag insists he’ll leave before nightfall. Anubhav arrives, asking to speak privately with Anurag. Panibai insists on being present, but Anubhav refuses. Panibai guesses it’s about Durga and causes a scene, threatening to report to Vikram. Anubhav dismisses her, prompting her to storm off. He then tells Anurag about Meera’s suspicion that Rajesh took Durga to his godown. They prepare to rescue her.
Vikram arrives, confronting Anubhav about his conversation with Panibai. Anubhav explains he only wanted to discuss the people’s court with Anurag. Vikram questions the need for privacy. Anubhav ignores him and leaves. Vikram warns Anurag not to ruin his career over Durga. Shocked, Anurag recalls Vikram once saw Durga as a daughter. Vikram coldly states that affection is unnecessary when Durga is undeserving.
