Durga tells Meera to not kill her dreams. Meera says you are giving me a speech but what about you? how could you get trapped by someone like Rajesh? I understand Chandini and Rajesh framed you but why did you agree to marry him? You could have chosen your studies.. I am sorry for scolding you so much. I can see innocence and tears in your eyes. Durga says sometimes we are helpless because of the people we love. Meera asks what does she mean? Durga says its nothing.. its my truth and I can do anything for the person I love. Meera says I know its not Rajesh so who is it? Durga says just don’t ask me.. he is the person I can give my life for. Meera says I understand everything but then why are you fasting? Durga says you are like my mother so I can’t lie to you. I am
Anurag and Anubhav come to the festival. Anurag says I don’t want to be here. Anubhav says you always celebrated karwachauth, I am sure Durga won’t be here. It will prove that she won’t celebrate it for Rajesh.
In the festival, Rajesh tells Vikram that his new wife Durga is here too as she wanted to fast for him. Vikram looks on and says really? Rajesh says yes, I don’t care why she is here but everyone should believe that she is fasting for me only. We both know who is in her heart so I have to keep control over her. Vikram says good.
All women sit together to start pooja. Rajesh comes there and says my new wife is doing pooja for me. Anurag is angry hearing that. He finds Durga sitting there and starts to leave but Anubhav stops him and says just stay here. Anurag says I hate her, she is a betrayer, I feel disgusted thinking I loved this woman once. Aarti goes to do pooja so Durga goes behind her. She thinks I am doing this pooja who I accepted as my husband from my heart, I just want him and his family to be protected.
The moon comes out so women start breaking their fasts. Durga looks at the moon through a sieve and turns around.. she finds Anurag standing behind Rajesh and looks at him through the sieve, she smiles at him but Rajesh comes in between.
Rajesh brings Durga to Vikram so he blesses her. She takes Savitri’s blessings but she ignores her. She goes to Aarti but she looks away, Durga tries to touch her feet but Aarti moves away. Durga sadly looks at Anurag and goes to him. She is about to touch his feet but he leaves from there. Durga touches the place he was standing and takes his blessings. Rajesh comes there and says what are you doing? Durga thinks she fasted for Anurag only so she had to take his blessings.
