Scene 1
Rajesh tells Durga to follow his orders otherwise she will bear the consequences. Durga says I am ready for that. Rajesh grabs her and says don’t provoke me, just do as I say. She says I am not scared of you. Rajesh starts dragging her but Mohan stops him and says let rest please. Rajesh says don’t you dare interfere in my matter. He drags Durga from there. Meera shouts that he is an animal. Bua tellls her to shut up and just let him do what he wants. Meera says I am a human so I can’t be silent seeing all that. Rajesh brings Durga to his room and throws her on the bed. He starts beating her and says you are my wife so just do as I say. Durga says you trapped me. Rajesh says you had an affair with Anurag but you shouldn’t dare to take his name ever again.
Vikram
Rajesh tells Durga that she will stay in his room. Durga says I won’t let you touch me, I will never allow an animal like you near me.
In the morning, Vikram tells the family that he has invited Durga and Rajesh over dinner. We should forget whatever happened and just welcome them. Bai says its our duty. Savitri says you never liked Durga so why you want to invite her now? Bai says you should be worried about Anurag and his condition. Anurag says people make mistakes. Vikram says don’t talk to her like that. Bai says I just taught them duty towards this family/ Anurag says why do you always have to teach this family? we can learn from others also. Vikram says respect her. Anurag says you don’t need to keep reminding us because respect is earned. Bai says I have done everything for this family as my own. Savitri says you came here for some help and never left. Vikram tells them to stop it. He says Bai helped us in our troubled times. Savitri says that doesn’t mean she can rule us over. Bai says I never wanted to be part of this family. I was invited to be a part of this family. Aarti comes there and says Durga can come here but I won’t serve her, I have never denied any order but I raised Durga as my daughter so I can’t see her after her betrayal. Vikram says I am not just a father but I have to fulfil my duty as a server of people. Bai says I will serve her then. Vikram tells Anurag that he should put people first over his feelings, he should go to Rajesh’s house and invite them. He asks Anubhav to go with him. Anurag thinks Vikram is doing this deliberately but the one who had my heart broke it completely so I have no hope from others anymore.
