Scene 1
The pooja starts and Durga prays in the mandir, Rajesh stands beside her and she tries to ignore him. Vikram whispers to Rajesh to do as he says, leave for now. He nods and leaves. Bai prays and thinks she wanted to use Durga for her revenge but she became useless for her, she won’t spare her for failing her plan. I will take my revenge on Savitri at any cost though. Anurag comes there and stands beside Durga, they both do pooja together. Vikram is angry seeing that. Bai stands between them to keep them separated. The priest offers flowers to them.
In the party, Anubhav asks Durga to call Anurag so they can start the party, she says you know he doesn’t like partying, he tells her to call him as it will be fun. She nods and leaves.
Durga comes to Anurag’s
room and finds him singing, she joins him in singing and asks why isn’t he in the party? he says you didn’t call me and didn’t choose clothes for me. She says I don’t want people to see us together. He says don’t worry about others and choose a suit for me. She chooses a suit for him and he goes to get ready. He comes back so Durga says you are getting ready like you want to find a bride. He says you look like a princess but for whom? Durga looks on and makes him wear a garland. He exchanges a garland with her and they both smile at each other. He says we exchanged garlands.. it means we are married now. Durga is surprised hearing that and says don’t be a fool. He says I am telling the truth.. you are mine completely. She looks away. He pulls her back in and says we have chosen each other.. you can never forget this day now, he hugs her but she says leave me. He says I am hugging my wife so its fine. She says anyone can see us. He says we belong to each other so don’t worry. Durga smiles and hugs him back. Bai comes there and calls them out so they move away. They take off garlands. Bai asks what are they doing here? He says I was playing guitar. Bai says I am sure you didn’t eat anything so come to the party. He says I am here because my heart belongs here. Bai glares at Durga and asks her to come with her. She takes them both to the party.
Anurag comes to the party so Anubhav asks him to sing a song and Durga can dance. Anurag sings a song and all his friends join him. He pulls Durga and dances with her. Bai sees them dancing together and is angry. Anubhav praises their performance. Rajesh comes there and tells Anurag that he enjoyed his performance.
