Panibai stops Anurag and demands to know where he has been. Anurag curtly asks if he is obligated to answer her. Aarthi intervenes, saying he must explain himself. Anant also questions Anurag and notices someone behind him. Everyone turns to see Durga standing there. As Durga steps toward the house, Panibai blocks her at the door, but Anurag insists she come inside, shocking Vikram and the others. They immediately demand an explanation.
Bhagya questions Durga about her widow’s attire, while Panibai begins making snide remarks, calling Durga Rajesh’s widow. Panibai even tries to push Durga out of the house, but Anurag stops her. Furious, Vikram demands to know how Durga dared to come there, but Durga remains silent.
Anurag then reveals that he didn’t go to Jodhpur but instead traveled to Kinsar to ensure that Vikram fulfills his promise to support Durga. Anant suggests that if Durga needed financial help, they could have sent money instead of bringing her there. He adds that with Rajesh gone, everything he owned now belongs to Durga.
Anurag counters, asking what about Durga’s education. Panibai scoffs, sarcastically asking if Durga plans to study now, claiming married women don’t need to study.
Vikram accuses Durga of being ungrateful, saying he raised her and supported her education. Durga responds boldly, reminding him that he didn’t educate her out of kindness but to gain votes and public admiration by pretending to help a tribal girl succeed.
Panibai, offended, says she brought Durga into their home and raised her, yet now Durga is talking back to Vikram. Durga sharply retorts that the Rathore family only took her in to save themselves from being burned alive. She asks Vikram if she is wrong, leaving him speechless.
Durga then confronts Vikram about her father’s death, accusing him of lying about it being an accident when he was the one who shot him. Anant reluctantly admits that Vikram did shoot her father but insists it was an accident. Panibai and Anant defend their actions, claiming they raised her out of generosity.
Durga demands to know what happened to her mother. Vikram claims her mother committed suicide, but Durga calls him a liar, saying she knows her mother is alive and being held captive by him. Anant and Indira accuse Durga of making false claims against Vikram.
Durga stands her ground, insisting Vikram continue to support her education. When Vikram accuses her of blackmailing him, Durga calmly warns that refusing her will cost him his votes. Furious, Vikram declares that Durga cannot stay in the house.
Madhav speaks up for Durga, pointing out that if Panibai, a tribal woman, and he can live there, then Durga has the same right. Reluctantly, Vikram agrees to let Durga stay until she gets admission to a hostel but sets a condition—Durga is forbidden from speaking to any men in the house.
Anurag dismisses Vikram’s rule, telling Durga to come to him for anything she needs. Aarthi and Savitri also voice their support for Durga, leaving Vikram frustrated but unable to argue further.
