Panibai tells Durga that, unlike in Kinsar, she won’t be limited to just kitchen work. She instructs Durga to take on the rest of the household chores. Confused, Durga asks what she means. Vikram interjects, saying Durga must work beyond the kitchen because they plan to reduce the maids now that she’s here. He adds they have to bear her burden. Sarcastically, Durga remarks that she didn’t know Vikram was so miserly but assures she has no issue doing housework.
Aarthi asks Durga to help cut vegetables, but Panibai stops her, saying Durga won’t work in the kitchen. Indira declares she won’t eat food prepared by Durga. When Aarthi questions her, Durga sarcastically comments about the Rathore family. Savitri defends Durga, saying she’ll support her, now aware she was forced to
Madhav surprises Savitri by thanking her for raising him like her own, despite being Panibai’s son. Panibai tries speaking to Madhav as his mother, but he coldly says giving birth doesn’t make her his mother, and she’ll always just be Panibai. Hurt, Panibai comments on his behavior. Madhav retorts, asking if it’s because she got his property, adding he’s ready to write it in the name of other children. Savitri reassures Madhav he’s part of the family and asks him not to feel otherwise.
Later, Vikram warns Durga to leave the house if she fails to secure a medical seat during counseling, adding she must list her late husband Rajesh, not him, as her guardian. Durga agrees. Panibai orders Durga to clean the house. Durga questions how she’ll manage chores and still attend counseling. Panibai dismissively says she can go only after finishing.
Durga arrives late to counseling but is allowed to attend. The dean, Dr. Vikas, reviews her file and realizes she’s the person Vikram mentioned. He asks about her guardian. Durga writes she’s a relative of Anurag. The dean asks for details. Durga explains Anurag is a resident doctor in the Rathore household. The dean suggests she list him as her guardian. Durga hesitates, saying Vikram won’t approve.
The dean warns her that without a proper guardian, she won’t be admitted. Durga pleads for time, saying she’ll get permission to list someone else. The dean gives her until 5 PM to resolve the issue.
PreCap: Durga asks Panibai about Vikram. Panibai stops her from seeing Vikram. Durga warns her and rushes to Vikram. Vikram in a meeting, Durga walks in and asks Vikram for 2 mins time.
