The dean informs Durga that she has until 5 PM to provide a guardian’s name and address if she wants to continue her studies at the college. Durga, deeply worried, wonders what to do, as she knows her dreams of studying will be crushed without Vikram’s permission to use his name as her guardian.
Meanwhile, the dean contacts Vikram and informs him that Durga has written Anurag’s name as her guardian. Surprised, Vikram questions the dean. The dean clarifies that Durga was given a condition to provide a valid guardian’s details by 5 PM. Vikram assures the dean that Durga won’t be able to meet him, as he will be busy with a press conference.
At his office, Vikram holds a press meeting where he discusses the importance of girls’ education. He speaks passionately about his experiences in tribal areas where there’s a lack of awareness. Proudly, Vikram shares how he raised Durga, a tribal girl, as his own daughter and helped her get an education. The reporters grow curious and ask about Durga’s current status. Hesitant at first, Vikram eventually claims that Durga was married, became a widow, and is currently staying at his home to recover from her trauma. He adds that she will leave once she is ready. When the reporters request an interview with Durga, Vikram cleverly dodges their questions.
Back at Rathore Mansion, Durga learns about Vikram’s press conference and hurries to meet him. Panibai tries to stop her, insisting that she wait until Vikram finishes his meeting. Desperate, Durga explains the dean’s ultimatum and the urgency of obtaining Vikram’s signature as her guardian. Aarthi, moved by Durga’s plight, allows her to go, but Panibai continues to resist. Ignoring the objections, Durga pushes ahead and barges into Vikram’s meeting.
Durga interrupts the press conference, demanding to speak with Vikram privately. When Vikram refuses, Durga threatens to reveal her issue in front of everyone. Determined, Durga boldly announces her problem to the reporters, explaining that she needs Vikram’s permission to list him as her guardian to gain admission to Imperial Medical College, and the deadline is 5 PM. Furious, Vikram orders her to leave, but Durga stands firm and argues with him.
The reporters, sensing a story, question Vikram about Durga’s claims. Trying to save face, Vikram explains that allowing Durga to study in the city could anger the people of Kinsar village. He reminds Durga of her supposed responsibilities toward her in-laws’ home. However, Durga challenges him, asking why she should return to her in-laws’ house when her husband, Rajesh, is no longer alive. She points out that only Chandini remains there and insists that she has no relationship with her anymore.
Durga’s bold statements put Vikram in an uncomfortable position as the reporters continue probing him for answers. Meanwhile, Anurag, who hears about the incident, grows increasingly worried for Durga.
Precap: Anurag stands by Durga. Anurag asks Vikram to call the college. Bhanu says to Vikram that they have to support Durga. Anurag says to Vikram that if he doesn’t call, he will ask Bhanu uncle to do so. Vikram later says to Panibai that this happened infront of media it’s not good. Panibai asks him to end the problem.
