Oberoi Mansion….
Night….
Shivaye is standing in the garden….He is still trying to absorb what Anika said….“Please Shivaye…stay out of my life…your wedding is in 2 days….so focus on your wedding…..you don’t need to worry about me…..problems are not new to me…..I have been dealing with them all alone since childhood….they don’t get tired of me and I don’t get tired of them….so please…..mujhe mere haal pe chod de Shivaye….” Anika’s teary eyes were still looking at him begging him….though he didn’t want to leave her hands, he loosens the grip…Anika frees herself and goes with Rocky…..Shivaye wanted to run behind and stop her….but he felt stiffness in his legs…he couldn’t move them….
Shivaye’s phone rings….he comes to his senses and picks the call….”Ok Rohit I am coming….” Shivaye leaves to his office. Soon as he enters his cabin, he calls Rohit in intercom….Rohit comes in with a laptop and some papers……Rohit places the laptop in front of Shivaye and plays a video…..
the visuals of Anika getting scared on the first attack, Shivaye entering the house and comforting Anika, Anika roaming in the house, Buaji and Sahil having an argument over Anika, Anika talking with Sahil, a man with hood entering the house and Anika getting scared, Anika running from the hall, the attacker goes outside and then suddenly Daksh enters inside…..”Stop…” Shivaye shouted….”play again…..” Rohit rewinds and plays the video again…..Shivaye gets up from his chair…..”Daksh…..Daksh is the stalker?” Shivaye couldn’t believe that he was saying that….
Rohit: Sir, we are not sure about that….but the call that came to Anika’s phone at the time of first attack….we traced that number and it is Daksh’s personal number….he has not used that number much….in fact, the call to Anika’s number was the last call he made in past few days…..we have checked Sir….
Rohit hands over the papers to Shivaye…..it was the call history of Daksh’s number….Shivaye’s face turns red….his facial muscles become stiff….and his fists get tightened….. “Daksh Khurana…..” Shivaye hits his fist on the table…”how dare you…..” He moves forward and stops near the door….”Rohit….” without turning he held out his hands….Rohit closes the laptop and gives it to Shivaye….Shivaye storms out of the room!!
Shivaye reaches Oberoi Mansion….he enters the house and straight away goes to Daksh’s room….he knocks but no one answers….he knocks again for a couple of times but no answer….Shivaye opens the door and enters inside…..Daksh is nowhere to be seen…..”Daksh….Daksh” Shivaye calls a couple of times…no sign of Daksh….he calls to his phone…..but no answer…..Shivaye tries to the number Rohit had given him…..it is switched off….Shivaye gets irritated….Anika flashes through his mind….he calls Anika…..she doesn’t answer…..he tries again….the call is answered….”Anika tum teek ho na?” “I am not Anika….am Sahil…”
Shivaye: Sahil…Where is Anika?
Sahil: Aap se matlab?
Shivaye: Just answer my question Sahil…..where is Anika? Is she ok?
Sahil: Oh hello….you are Anikadi’s boss….not mine….so don’t give orders to me….Anikadi is busy right now…she can’t attend your call….call later….
Sahil ends the call before Shivaye said, “Sahil tell me exactly where she is…” Beep…beep….Shivaye feels irritated…”Ye bacha hain yaa baap?” He calls Anika again….but it goes unanswered…..”why can’t she just pick up the damn phone and tell she is fine…..both sister and brother are crazy…..”
Shivaye walks in his room….he calls Rohit and asks him to trace out where Daksh is and to tap the incoming calls to Anika’s phone….OmRu comes in….they stare at Shivaye for a few secs……”Shivaye all ok??” Om asks…..Shivaye turns to look at them…..”No….not everything is ok….” Rudra asks…”What happened bhaiyya? Lady Baba ran away??” ShivOm gives an angry look at Rudr and Om slaps on his head….
“Nothing like that Rudra….some tension with the new deal….” Shivaye says without looking at them….”Shivaye…you are lying….” Om says…”Tell us what is the problem….we can also help you find a solution….as I always tell you can share your problems with us Shivaye…” Shivaye comes near them and pats on Om’s shoulders…”I will….if there is the need….for the time being, I know how to handle it….so you both go and take rest….” Rudra hugs Shivaye…”Gud night bhaiyya….” Shivaye says “Gud night”….Om also says “Get some sleep…everything will be fine….Gud night” and leaves…
Shivaye again calls Anika….this time Anika picks the call…..”Hello…..” Shivaye felt Anika’s voice was broken….”Anika….you are crying? Are you okay?” Silence on the other side for a few secs….”No….I am not crying….why did you call?”
Shivaye: I wanted to know if you are okay….where were you when I called earlier?
Anika: Shivaye….I am fine….I have told you stop worrying about me….I am very tired….so Gud night.
Anika ends the call….Shivaye looks at the phone angrily….he spent the rest of the night walking in his room, sometimes lost in thoughts he sat on the bed, sometimes he would stand staring at the swimming pool….a couple of times he went to Daksh’s room to check if he had come…..sometime in the early morning, Shivaye was able to get some sleep….Rohit calls Shivaye to tell that Daksh is now in OM….Shivaye hurriedly goes to Daksh’s room…..
“Daksh…Daksh…” Shivaye shouts at the top of his voice…..Daksh comes from the washroom….”Shivaye…am here…why are you shouting man?” Shivaye holds Daksh by his T-shirt and pulls him close…..”Hey hey Shivaye…what are you doing? What’s wrong with you man? Is this the way to behave with your best friend?” Daksh says with that cunning smile….
Shivaye’s face turns red….”I have to ask you the same thing….is this the way you behave with a girl who is…(Shivaye stops midway)…working for your friend? How dare you Daksh….how dare you stalk Anika?”
For a second Daksh stood shocked…..then he smiled….”So you finally found out huh? But tell me Shivaye….what’s your problem? Anika is only your employee….and I am your friend….and as I will be marrying her soon, its my responsibility to keep an eye on her…..you can’t call that stalking…..its my right to know how my ‘wife-to-be’ is living? You know these small-town girls….they can act as they are very innocent, but can be very shrewd when it comes to their comforts….” Shivaye punches on his face….”Mind your words Daksh…..Anika is not that kind of girl….why am I even talking about her to you? You know what….we have to go somewhere….come with me….”
Shivaye takes Daksh by his collar and drags him out of the house….he signs to the security and they follow him…..he pushes Daksh into a car and signs the security to get in….he signs the driver to leave….he sees Daksh trying to fight with the security inside and the car leaves…..
