The Episode starts with Mangla telling Kanno that she will do the aarti. Poonam and Akash come home. Shashikant also comes from the office. Mangla asks Akash why did you bring such biscuits. He says Poonam’s dad likes it. Shashikant leaves angrily and goes to his room. Everyone looks at him while he leaves.
Kanno treats Poonam’s parents well while Mangla looks at her being foolish. Mangla asks Akash what happened when he went to Lucknow, did anything become final. Akash says no, the day was bad. Kanno says it will take time to get a good house, till then they can stay with us. Prabhunath says no, we want to go back to our house soon. Kanno says you can stay here, this is also your house, don’t you like being with us. Poonam says till we get a house, can we stay in
He says make this clear. He says I don’t care about Lucknow’s business. He says he can go to Lucknow daily and come back, but he won’t stay with your family, I don’t agree to this. He says you can’t do anything like this if we have given you freedom. He says be in your limits. He scolds Poonam and leaves. Poonam gets upset. Akash tells Poonam that I can’t go against my dad. He says forgive me, I can’t stay in your house.
Akash and Poonam come to their room. Akash says I know you are annoyed with me, but I did not want to hurt you. She says you have hurt me. He says try to understand, I can’t stay in your house. She says why, then why are you keeping my parents here. She says sometimes I can;t understand you, its you who went against your family and kept my parents here, but you think you won’t stay with my parents. Akash says I respect my dad’s decision and can’t hurt his feelings. Poonam gets angry and says my parents wants to go to Lucknow, but when I talk to them, they become quiet.
She says they did not support me, I don’t know what they want, I don’t want to talk about this. She goes to sleep. Akash gets worried. The next morning, Poonam comes to Akash and asks what do you want. He looks at her and says my jacket. She gives him his jacket and music plays….. He thanks her and wears it. She looks at him and they say sorry to each other. Music plays….. They have an eyelock and they smile looking at each other. She says sorry Akash, I got much serious, I was just thinking about my family. I did not think how will you go against your dad. He says its fine, I have to understand you.
He says about Lucknow, don’t worry, I will find some way out. They hear someone crying and go out to see. Mama is crying as Mangla scolds her. Everyone come in the hall and see them. Dadi asks what happened. Mama says she is kicking me out of the house. Mangla says go from here, I don’t want to see your face. Akash says he is with us since years, what happened, why are you after him. Mangla says don’t interfere, he knows what he did. Akash says Mama won’t go anywhere, he will stay with us. Akash takes Mama inside. Mangla asks everyone to stop and not follow her as its about her and her brother.
Akash pacifies Mama. Mangla comes to them and tells Akash that Mama went to Lucknow to enquire about Poonam’s parents. He brought the news that they are very rich but the reality is they are poor and have nothing with them. Akash is shocked knowing Mangla knows the reality. She says won’t I be angry, how can I bear such a big lie. She says Kanno started serving them because of this lie, if their truth comes out, they will lose their respect. She says its because of him, so I will make him go out of this house. Akash says you have sent him to Lucknow. Mangla is shocked and looks at him. Akash says what do you want to know. Mangla says I wanted to know about them, you married Poonam and her parents came to stay here, so I tried to know about them.
She says I was simply doing the thing which people do before marriage. She says how do yo know that I have sent Mama. Akash is tensed. He says Suman told me that she met Mama in Lucknow and I know Mama always obey you. Mangla is convinced and says but you are wrong, I don’t lie about others, like he did. She leaves. Akash tells her that Mama did a mistake, but you can forgive him. She says I will talk to your dad about this, then I will decide what to do about him. Akash gets worried. Akash thinks Poonam will know everything if this truth comes out.
