The episode starts with Bhim Rao insisting to study Sanskrit, he had wished to study it since a childhood. Why can he not study it in college. The professor picked his stick and asked Bhim Rao to put his hand forward. He gave him multiple dose, Bhim Rao was in pain he lowered his hand. The professor hit his shoulders than asked him to leave. Bhim Rao questioned why he cannot study Sanskrit inside or outside the classroom. The professor replied that the language wasn’t for the lower caste, he asked Bhim Rao to leave. When Bhim Rao left the students clapped for the professor.
Rama cried, Jijabai asked her to come inside. Rama’s siblings stood beside her.
Ramji said that Bhim Rao saved them again, as a father he sees Bhim Rao as his only hope. Puranjan appraised for
Sethji went asking his workers about some missing money, nobody knew. As Puranjan was the security guard he fined him for his lack of responsibility. Ramji questioned how he would be able to pay such hefty amount back. Sethji said that Ramji took Puranjan’s responsibility. Resham Seth came out. Ramji understood that it was being done on his saying. Resham Seth said that it was a matter of caste, he wanted to see how Ramji would manage the rent. He left. Sethji will not pay Puranjan and Ramji as a penalty. Puranjan grabbed Sethji’s feet, begged him not to pay Ramji he didn’t want him to suffer. Sethji ignored Puranjan. Ramji grabbed and consoled him.
Bhim Rao thought of not telling anyone about the incident.
Joshi had hired some men to beat Anand. They circled Anand, he fought back for a while, but he was outnumbered. They hit him on the head, he fell to the floor. the men left. Joshi came to unconscious Anand and said that the revenge would have been confined to Bhim Rao but since he got him expelled now, he would do whatever he wants in Bombay. Landlord came, he wanted whatever he could to make their life hell. Joshi wished to do the worst of all to Bhim Rao and his family.
Bhim Rao came to his society, the neighbors taunted him for visiting the Governor. The boy Deepak came with a problem to Bhim Rao, he said that he wanted to learn Sanskrit, but his teacher refused saying that it wasn’t made for the lower caste.
Guruji noticed Anand on the roadside, he woke him up with few splashed of water. Wanted to take him to a doctor, Anand was unable to walk, he had a broken foot. Guruji asked him to wait while he brings a doctor to him.
Bhim Rao said to Deepak that he hasn’t been to find a solution to that problem himself. The shoemaker asked Deepak to learn some work, earn some money, Bhim Rao was of no help. Daliya amma was asked to tell Bhim Rao about the fortune teller who insulted Rama. Bhim Rao inquired.
Meera consoled Rama as she wept. Rama said that he shouldn’t have humiliated her. Jijabai replied that the man said right, they were from the lower caste. Lakshmi said that Rama didn’t have these issues before, Bhim Rao has affected her understandings. She must realize and accept herself and her caste for the better. Bhim Rao came and said that he loved Rama’s tears, people silently suffer, they aren’t even able to express their pain.
