Bheem notices the people from his caste with a pot tied around their necks and a broom tied behind them. He runs and hugs his father in shock with the villagers still chasing him. It is us today and tomorrow it can be you too! Accept this as the bitter truth of your society. They explain the significance of the broom and pot. You too will have to go like this if you will pass from there in future.
Villagers bring a pot, ropes and broom for Anand. We will break the self-respect of Sakpal family now. Dhruv breaks the pot with a stone. Puranjan stands in front of the kids as their shield. He tells them to run away. They are hesitant but he insists. Few villagers stay back to beat Puranjan while the others chase Dhruv and Anand.
Bhima runs back to where all the pots are kept
Villagers beat Puranjan stealthily by attacking him from behind.
On the other hand, people from Bhima’s caste burn their brooms. We wont go in that area by any chance now! They say in unison. Anand and Dhruv come running there. Bhima asks them what happened. Dhruv tells them everything. Villagers are chasing us. People from Bhima’s caste tell the kids to hide in the house nearby. We will manage it. Dhansukhlal and Mangesh reach there but the villagers insist that no one came here. They tell the Dhansukhlal and Mangesh to check inside if they don’t trust them. Anand panics but Bhima assures him that they wont come inside their houses. Mangesh says we can atleast set the house on fire. Anyone who is inside will die! Dhansukhlal agrees but then stops. He scolds the tea vendor. My son can also be inside! Another guy says you son should have thought of it beforehand. Other guys support him but Dhansukhlal says Dhruv is still a kid. They tell him to do a puja for his son and keep them at bay from Ram ji’s kids. Seth Dhansukhlal the villagers of consequences in case he finds out that his son is also hiding inside their house! They leave.
Villagers and the kids heave a sigh of relief. The kids come out again. Anand says Puranjan kaka is there only. Will they be beating him? They go to check on him.
Bhimbai finishes her work and gets her wage. The guy tells her to come on time in evening. She picks up the coins with a smile.
A group of people ask Bhimbai if there is a well from which people from their community can drink water. She guides them. Bhimbai looks at a cart. I don’t know for how long I will live. My sons my somehow manage but what about my girls. I will get Manjula married till the time I am alive! She imagines Manjula sitting in the cart dressed as a bride and smiles. She experiences sharp pain and sits under a tree. Doc said it will reduce slowly but it isn’t going anywhere. Bhima, Anand, Dhruv and other people from their community notice her there. Bhima asks her what she is doing here. she says I sat down as I was tired. What are you doing? Bhima takes Puranjan’s name.
A party worker decides to target the people who have been working for the English government. Ram ji explains that this is just a perspective. They might work for them but deep down, there might be reasons behind their choice of work. The owner tries to interrupt but the party worker continues with his logics. We will bring change in our style! The owner ends the discussion. Party worker leaves with his group of men. The owner tells Ram ji not to say all these things to these people. They wont let us live here peacefully if they find out about your background. Ram ji says I was just speaking the truth. I love my country too. I am just not as strong as them maybe.
Puranjan is rushed to the Vaid by Bhima and the villagers. A guy meets Bhimbai who is headed to Ganga’s hometown. Let me know if you want to give her any message. Bhimbai looks at Manjula sweetly. She tells the guy to tell Ganga to find a good match for Manjula. I want to get her and Tulsa married while I am still alive. He tells her not to say so but she reasons that she isn’t keeping well these days. Life cannot be trusted.
Ram ji thanks Puranjan for saving the kids. Puranjan says I am your friend. How would I have faced you if something had happened to the kids? We spent our lives somehow but if the new generation wants to fight then we should support them. Bhima suggests filing a report but Puranjan tells them to drop it. Ram ji tells Anand not to go in that area ever again. Villagers say that even they wont go there again. Bhima told us not to go from there and we have decided to do it. It is a very simple thing but no one has told us this before. Ram ji reasons that they wont be able to survive or earn this way. They too shoot a confused look. Ram ji asks Bhima to find a solution to their problem. Bhimbai reasons that he is a kid. How will he think of a solution? Ram ji says he should also figure out how their families will survive. Bhimbai asks him why he is getting angry. Ram ji reasons that he is trying to strike a rebellion but has no solutions to offer so I will scold him. It is easy to lecture but find the solution first! Bhima says we have to first decide what not to do and then only can we see how and what we should do next. Ram ji says it is easier said than done. Do you have a solution because of which their families can lead a happy life? Keep quiet if you don’t have any! He walks out unhappily.
Bhimbai says he seems upset with something else. Bua tries to stop Bhima from going after Ram ji but Bhima says it is important to talk to him right now. Ram ji feels sad for taking out his anger on Bhima. I shouldn’t have scolded him. Bhima tells him against it. You don’t have to give any explanation to anyone, not even yourself. You are right. W cannot get rid of a problem without a solution! Come inside now. I have thought of a solution.
Precap: An alliance comes for Manjula who refuses to marry but Bhimbai insists that it will happen at any cost. Ram ji and Bhima look at her in shock.
