The episode begins with Arti leaving to inform David, she was sure that the would be pleased to hear the good news. Shoba cried.
Arti came to David and informed him that she was about to become his child’s mother. David was shocked, he congratulated her. Arti told that everyone in chawl was shocked to know about it, they called it a sin. Shoba asked her to marry David right away or run away with him. David asked Arti to go inside, he has a gift for her. Arti asked if he was happy. David said that he was happy, it was a good news.
Shoba cried heavily. Rama comforted her, asked her to think otherwise. It was possible that David and Arti actually had the child out of love. She asked Shoba to come to chawl. Shoba refused to go back to chawl, she didn’t know how to face
Arti while standing in front of the mirror talked to herself, she told Shoba rightly that David would be happy and pleased to hear about this news. David came in with a glass half filled, Arti inquired it was. David told that he brought her a medicine to kill the child. The chawl members called it a sin. Arti questioned David for killing their child. David pushed her over, he called Arti inhuman and mental to fall in love with. He said her a few things to make her think that he loved her though he can never love her. Arti begged him not to do so. David told that he has done this to three other girls before Arti. They fought at first but then accepted his decision, in return he gave them some money to kill the child. Arti refused to do so; she wasn’t like other girls. Arti really loved David. David locked her in a room until she kills the baby. Arti begged him not to do so.
Everyone in the chawl were waiting. Rama and Lakshmi brought Shoba. Deepak asked about his aunt. Rama answered that Arti will come back in the morning. Deepak threw the party food away. Bhim Rao questioned his behavior. Deepak told that he didn’t want to celebrate his birthday, he was able to understand that Arti committed a sin by getting pregnant when she wasn’t even married. Bhim Rao asked him not to call anyone a sinner without assessing the actual reason. Deepak should be wise enough to understand that silence is better that speaking loudly. Deepak left saying that Bhim Rao’s stance would have been different if it was his aunt. Anand asked everyone to have dinner otherwise the food would go to waste. Lakshmi requested everyone to stay for dinner.
Next morning, David was having his tea. Arti banged the door to be opened. David opened the door. Arti came out asking that he was about to take her to London. David told that he made Arti tea, she must drink and the medicine later. He will not fire her; things will continue as usual. Arti begged him not to do so, she wasn’t like others. Every time he called her beautiful, she fantasized of becoming his wife. She started to dress and speak like them, soon she will adopt everything. David requested Arti to stop the nonsense, she will be paid enough money to live happily. Arti denied being a beggar. Arti pled him to listen to her. David furiously took her back to her room.
Bhim Rao told everyone to they must go and meet Arti, help her if she needs anything. Deepak objected said that a sinner must be punished. Bhim Rao replied to Deepak about the question he asked him last night. Bhim Rao told that it wasn’t a matter of Arti being his aunt or not but women being accused and questioned for the sins. Bhim Rao wanted to stand in support of women who were victims of such cruelty. He asked Deepak to come with him anyhow he was going to Arti with Shoba and Rama. They left.
Jijabai asked Ramji to stop educating Bhim Rao and make him make him work in some societal organization. Meera asked Jijabai to be quiet. Jijabai taunted, Chawl must have a banner asking people to seek help from Bhim Rao. Ramji begged Jijabai not to speak against Bhim Rao for helping a woman, if she can not help him than must stay silent. Ramji left.
Bhim Rao and others wanted the gates to be opened, they were here to meet Arti. Arti was tied to her bed in a room. David allowed his guards to let Bhim Rao and others come inside. Bhim Rao questioned him about Arti. David asked who Arti was. Rama reminded him about the woman he forced to get in his car. David said that bosses don’t remember their servant’s name. Bhim Rao asked where she was. David counter questioned them, said that Arti went to a birthday part last night but never returned. Shoba questioned. David’s employees brough him his promotion letter. He questioned Shoba and other for being sure that Arti was with him. Shoba was hesitant at first but told him that Arti was pregnant with his child. Bhim Rao told that Arti headed to David’s house to inform him about it. David refused to know that, questioned their audacity to think that he would love an Indian. He threatened to have them lynched if anyone said another word about David.
