Jija Bai is shocked, Bhim says that it is up to Rama if she decides to leave the job, Jija Bai mentions it is very good news when Meghnat enters explaining even he has good news along with the sweets, so asks if they all do not know want to know it then reveals that Bhim Rao and Shishupal have been thrown out of their jobs in the newspaper office, Meghnat asks Bhim Rao if he did not like the news, Karuna and Jija Bai start smiling when Meghnat explains that he also forgot to give them another news explaining he has bought the newspaper office because Bhim Rao has challenged him to start a new office which is why he bought the old office so he does not want Bhim to get even a step ahead, Meghnat explains Bhim Rao should have the sweets now that he has heard the good news, he asks Bhim
Jija Bai asks Karuna to give the sweets as it is the reason of twice the happiness, Bhim and Rama lost their jobs while she became the manager and she will give it first to her father in law, Jija Bai asks Ramji to have the laddo and eat it, as Karuna has become the manager the one which his educated son could not become, she insists that Ramji should eat it but then exclaims he will be sad that his son and other daughter in law have lost their job, Meera also asks Ramji to not eat it since Jija Bai is even making the sweets bitter, Jija Bai says Ramji can throw the laddo if he does not want to eat so Bala and everyone else find out that he only cares for Bhim and Rama, Jija Bai demands he should have the laddo as she would not put it back in the box, he can either eat it or throw it away when Ramji takes the laddo and walks straight to Karuna, he praises Karuna for becoming the manager explaining he would always be happy, Ramji says he Jija Bai was giving him the sweet as the one for the downfall of Bhim and Rama and Jija Bai desired he should not eat it but he will surely eat the sweet, Ramji takes a bite from the laddo. Jaggu then even asks Bhim to have the ladder and he takes it from the box, Karuna then goes to Rama saying even she should have the ladder after which she will give it to everyone else. Karuna goes to Lakshmi, Meera, and even Bala who is smiling. Bhim remembers when the manager asked him for justice but he kept quiet, Bhim stops Karuna saying if she is the one who got the manager fired and he finds it in the future then would surely file a case against her, hearing this everyone gets shocked. Jija Bai blames it is the poison from within but Meera stops her saying it is the truth that is speaking, Bhim leaves and Rama also follows him while Karuna is worried for a moment however she asks everyone to have the sweets,
Rama asks why did he not tell her what happened, he replies he had come but stopped after seeing her tensed however she says he should have told her, Bhim mentions that her tears stopped him from saying anything and one should hide their pain if one present in front of them is already tensed, while Rama is his wife and he does not have any right to talk of his pains, Bhim asks Rama to have the sweet and then she even makes him eat it, they both are tensed.
Ramji comes calling Bhim and Rama, he apologizes to them both as he could not be a part of their pain so came here, Bhim replies they understand him, he says a person cannot always choose between right or wrong but what is most clear, and for him, they both were more understanding then Karuna so he was not on their side. Ramji says that he knows they were wronged as Karuna took the job of Rama but he still ate it and Bhim should forgive him if he felt bad, Bhim says Baba is calling them understanding but even apologizing, Bhim says he has complete faith in his father and one should not ask questions for the drops that fall in it when their trust in like the ocean.
Jija Bai and Karuna are standing in the window when Jija Bai exclaims that times change and she should also change the relations, Karuna explains the times have gone when they would listen to the words of others but would do what they desired, Jija Bai says that now she should change it all.
Ramji tells Bhim and Rama to not be worried when Bhim explains he has decided to open a newspaper office with Sethji and Shishupal. Ramji asks if this is the right decision as Bhim has to study a lot and would get trapped in the working of the newspaper, Bhim says the owner of the newspaper Sethji had taken care of the office with a lot of effort and said that they could only sell six newspapers while today they sell more then six hundred a day and from such a person when everything was snatched, he has taken this decision for it and Sethji supported him when he needed the job so he wants to stand today with Sethji. Ramji says he still wants to say one thing that Bhim needs to earn from the job and a lot of money is needed to open an office and who knows when he would earn from it, while it is right when the right path is selected in the wrong times then the decision becomes wrong, however, Bhim can take the decisions by himself. Ramji walks out of the house while Bhim and Rama are still standing there
In the night Bhim is studying thinking about the behavior of the elder brother of Sethji after which he vowed to start a new office but then his father confused him, he wonders what can he do now, he is not aware that Rama is also awake and noticing hos tensed he is, Bhim cannot think of anything.
