He sits next to him as Bala asks him if one can support someone for life without giving a name to the relation. Ram ji nods. Bala says I want to support Rani as she is all alone. Aayi says that love is demanding and feelings in looking after someone. I wont ask for anything. I will just take care of her. She was going to commit suicide when I met her for the first time. Mangesh and Dhansukhlal tell Maharaj everything. Maharaj tells them to catch him. He is the biggest sinner here. They agree. Maharaj thinks he should be punished for going against dharma.

Bhimbai comforts Rani. He would have learnt it from his dharma and society that people stay away even from the shadows of people from the lower community. Rani says I was being selfish when I decided to not remain a widow anymore but I was sure his love will be stronger than everything else. I was wrong! He also gave importance to dharma and caste over love! Meera says this is the sad reality of life. People are ready to give up anything because of caste and dharma. Rani nods. I have nothing left. I will never be happy! Bala suggests speaking to Sandesh. You can get yourself purified later. Your caste will be same then. He leaves. Ram ji and Bhima are watching everything from outside. Bhima asks his Baba why a lover could go against the dharma made for widows but cannot go against caste. He could battle one thought process but he has problem with Rani Didi living with us and decided to leave her! How can a guy decide who he wants to support?
