Bhimbai cries. I know I wont be able to see Tulsa’s wedding. Let me see Manjula’s marriage atleast. He asks her why she keeps talking about dying. She shares that this pain is unbearable. I am not interested in dying or speaking about dying but I cannot bear this pain anymore! Would I like to leave you, our kids and this house? He tells her everything will be fine. She cries harder. Anand tells his parents that Bhima is nowhere to be seen and has left a note behind for them. Ram ji reads Bhima’s letter. Aayi said this wedding will happen even if no one agrees with the idea. I cannot be a part of this marriage even after staying here. I will otherwise prove everything that you have taught me till date as wrong. They go out to look for him. Manjula sits down sadly. He loves his sister
Ganga’s husband finalises the alliance. Groom’s family demands for dowry. Ganga’s husband assures them that it will be arranged once the alliance is finalized. Everything will be arranged as per your wish. They decide to do a small ceremony tomorrow where they can decide the date for the wedding. Ganga’s husband leaves. The elder DIL suggests asking her SIL once. Her MIL and FIL taunt her on her suggestion.
Puranjan calls out to Dhansukhlal. Come outside and arrange a puja for your son. You need to purify him. Do you think your fellow villagers will overlook this point? Dhansukhlal says I know you want to include me and my son in your community but I wont let you succeed. I will do this puja definitely. I will do it in front of the villagers. Puranjan says I only wanted you to understand how fearful it is that you can be banished from your society. You want to do this puja as you know that your community might oust Dhruv from the community. You are right about your son. Why don’t you understand that this is what Ram ji wants for his son too? Dhansukhlal tells him to leave. People like you cannot sway me from my path. They see Ram ji asking people about Bhima. Dhansukhlal mocks Ram ji. Is there some problem in your family? Earlier it was Bala who ran away and now Bhima has run away too! Hope your daughters won’t run away too! Ram ji says my father and my FIL was at a good rank in British Army and I was also a Subedar. This village has seen the all that Bhima has done. Talk about your family now and decide where you actually stand! He leaves. Puranjan tells Dhansukhlal to think about what Ram ji said and leaves.
No one is able to find Bhima. Bhimbai wants to go to station but her husband tells her against it. She breaks down. How will I live without him? He tells her they will find Bhima anyhow. She is berserk. Ram ji tells her to let him think but she refuses to stay calm. I am his mother. He asks her why she had to scold him then. Why were you so rude to him when he said that we shouldn’t get Manjula married so early? You know how sensitive he is yet you spoke rudely to him. Let me think what we should do. Meera tells them to calm down. Ganga’s husband joins them just then. He shares that a shagun ceremony has been fixed for tomorrow. Ram ji suggests postponing the ceremony. Bhima is nowhere to be seen. We are not in the right frame of mind right now. Bhimbai stays put which irks Ram ji but she says Manjula is also our daughter. Bhima thinks I will become weak if he will leave the house like this? He always acts stubborn every time he wants something. I am also his mother. It will happen. She tells her SIL to make preps for tomorrow and leaves to find Bhima. Everyone follows her.
Manjula’s would-be groom and his brother give the day’s earnings to their father. They are happy hearing about the alliance.
All members of Sakpal family are sitting outside. Ram ji says I am sure that Bhima will be fine and can take care of himself. We will find him soon. Go and rest a little. He wont just return like this. Meera agrees. She asks the kids to come. Bhimbai tells her to put Manjula to sleep. Her eyes will be swollen if she wont sleep properly. We have to get her ready in the morning. Everyone goes inside except Ganga’s husband Ram ji and Bhimbai. She tells her husband to sleep as well. I will wait here. Ram ji and Ganga’s husband go inside. She thinks of how Bhima has always held his high and fought every battle rightfully till date. No school teaches the different between right decision and justified decision. This is something one learns after experiencing the ups and downs of life. You are right, son but my decision is better suited here. I know you will understand it one day. You will be able to forgive me if you understand it while I am still alive. You will be in a lot of pain if you realise it later. I will never want that. Come back Bhima! She cries.
Precap: Bala says this wedding is wrong if Bhima has said so. Bhimbai asks him if this means they are wrong. Bala says I don’t know if you are right or wrong but I trust Bhima. Even I am not in favour of this wedding. I wont let it happen. Bhimbai slaps him. Your Baba and I are in favour of this wedding. You can leave this house again if you have a problem with it.
