Bhima is having difficulty combing Bela’s hair. He asks Bela since when she hasn’t washed her hair. She shares that she washed them last when they were attacked. He ties her hair in a bun temporarily and tells her to wash them tomorrow. She agrees. Bhima goes to wash his hands while everyone else sit down for dinner.

Maharaj instructs his Daasi to gather a bowl of that milk and go to Bhima’s house at night to pour it on Bela’s hand. She leaves to collect the leaves. The other Daasi runs off to Bhima’s house. She notices Dhansukhlal and Mangesh sitting on a cot nearby and tries to approach Bhima stealthily but Katya takes her from there just in time.

Maharaj makes the other Daasi slap her twice as punishment. She leaves for Bhima’s house afterwards. He also

promises Katya that he will give him prize for his work soon and sends him home. He tells the Daasi that now she only will have to make Bela a Devdasi. She cries helplessly.

Maharaj’s Daasi manages to get inside Sakpal House at night and pours the milk on Bela’s hair when everyone is sleeping. Bela’s hand falls on the bowl in the process. Meera asks Ganga to check if there is a cat. Ganga tells her against it and they fall asleep again. There are marks on milk on Bela’s fingers.

Next morning, Sakpal family wakes up because of a commotion. Villagers are dancing merrily as they walk enthusiastically towards Sakpal House with a palanquin. They ask Ram ji to bring the Devdasi (Bela) outside. Ram ji locks the door from inside. Bela panics. Bhimbai notices the dry milk in her fingers and Ram ji notices her hair. He shares that this was a trap. The men decide to go outside and the women stay inside to help Bela. An argument ensues between both the parties. They hold their ground against the other and tell the other party so. Meanwhile, the ladies pour oil in Bela’s hair in an attempt to untangle them but in vain.

Bhima speaks against Maharaj which angers the villagers. They tell Ram ji to bring the girl outside willingly till they count 3 or they will drag her outside otherwise. Bhima refuses. Dhansukhlal starts counting. Ram ji and his boys’ pickup sticks and challenge the villagers.

Precap: Bela is forcibly taken away in the palanquin and brought in front of Maharaj. Maharaj tells them to apply ash on her body. The Daasi’s begin to do so when Bhima walks in with a burning log. Leave my Didi or I will set myself on fire right here. My Baba is ex-Subedar. He wont spare any of you. Everyone looks at him in shock.
