The episode begins with Nandu wanting to go to the inauguration. He has been given money for his work. Nandu would have gone otherwise, he doesn’t want to die. Bhim Rao begs them to understand that alcohol is a bribe. Janardan wants to take the bribe; they don’t have enough money to buy it for themself. Joku tells that everyone will go. Daliya calls Joku lazy. Joku has no issues, he wants the alcohol at all cost. Bhim Rao leaves.

Vaijnath is sure that the alcohol shop will take Bhim Rao’s time. He wont get enough time to study or lecture. Everyone around will be busy in drinking. Vaipal asks if Vaijnath will go for the inauguration. Vaijnath refuse, he will send his sons.

Rama calms Bhim Rao, it isn’t the first time that everyone refuse to listen to him. Bhim

Rao is frustrated for not being able to make anyone understand, neither Ramji to bring Jijabai home nor the chawl members to stay away from alcohol. Rama tells that everything is not for him to control, he must wait and see the results. Bhim Rao recalls his mother claiming fire and alcohol to be reasons behind destruction. He wants everyone to understand this, he urges to tell them. Rama stops him, as now is not the time. She serves his water and sympathizes with everyone for not understanding him because sometimes she doesn’t get Bhim Rao as well. She rests assures that in order evolve everyone must listen to Bhim Rao or the world will stay the same.

Ramji requests Jijabai to come home. She has no such intentions, asks Ramji to leave. Ramji refuse to leave Jijabai alone; he will spend the night here with her if he has to. Meera comes to them, she is worried for his brother. Night if followed by cold, them staying here would get them sick. Ramji refuse to leave without Jijabai. Meera begs Jijabai to come home. Jijabai coughs asking for water. Ramji went to get water for him. Jijabai is fine, she doesn’t want Meera to interfere in her relationship with Ramji. Meera cares for her brother. Jijabai reminds Meera that only a wife has right over her husband, not a sister. Meera wouldn’t know that. Ramji bring her water. Meera loves Ramji beyond words, she wants the best for both of them. Meera will stay here with them. Ramji requests Meera to leave. Jijabai asks Ramji not to bother, she wont die. Ramji gets angry and drags Jijabai home, she has crossed her limits now.

Joku, Hitesh and others decide to take something for Shishupal. They order a flower necklace from Nandu. Daliya and Shoba request Phuliya to stop Joku from getting drink.

Ramji and Jijabai enter the chawl. Everyone questions him. Ramji stops everyone from interfering in his personal life. Jijabai questions, she wants everyone to know now. Jijabai informs everyone about her demand to own a shop and Ramji giving away all the money to a beggar. Bhim Rao agrees with Jijabai that Bhim Rao was wrong. Jijabai ought to do whatever she wills form now on. Hitesh asks Jijabai to gift the flower necklace to Shishupal. Meera stops Jijabai from letting that happen. Jijabai protest, she is sure to whatever she wills. Ramji leaves.

At night, Shishupal and Vaipal are ready to inaugurate the shop. Shishupal asks about his father and chawl members not arriving. Vaipal informs that Vaijnath will not be coming. Shishupal orders the drummers to play. Chawl members get ready to go for the inauguration. Rama requests Jijabai not to go. Jijabai questions Rama for not stopping Ramji at the right time. Jijabai will go. Phuliya stops Joku but he refuses to listen to her as well. Everyone was leaving, Bhim Rao and Rama try stop everyone by reminding them about their relatives becoming victim of alcohol. Jijabai pushes Bhim Rao aside, everyone leaves. Lakshmi sends Anand to bring Bhim Rao inside. Vaipal comes to the chawl asking Anand to step away from Bhim Rao. Bhim Rao recognized Vaipal being his college mates. Vaipal informs about him being Vaijnath’s younger son.
