Shishupal walks out of his house to the main courtyard , he is shocked to see his father shivering in the cold who calls his son to come and meet him revealing that he has been sitting in the cold only to prove his love. Meghnat seeing Shamla asks Shishupal to not say it again telling how he has proved his love for his son, Shamla turns to Shishupal to also give the tea after which she leaves. Meghnat then asks Shishupal to come and sit beside him, Meghnat is still shivering while saying he is feeling good after proving how much he loves him, Shishupal slowly starts having tea. In the morning Rama along with Bhim, Deepak and Aanad are searching together, Aanad also goes to Bhim asking if they found the slipper when Lakshmi mentions how would they find the slipper when Karuna would have hidden it. Phulari comes warning they should think before blaming anyone, she asks Bhim if Jija Bai and Karuna would be the reason for his problems. Shoba comes asking Phulari if it is nice when she interferes with them all, Phulari says when everyone is blamed due to the actions of Bhim then Shoba and her Nandu get offended but now when Bhim is blaming Jija Bai and Karuna then would they not feel bad. Karuna comes calling everyone to have tea, Phulari says they all should see how Karuna is calling them all to have tea but they all are still blaming her, Phulari even asks if Rama did not feel shame while agreeing with the plans of her husband, Aanad asks Phulari to stop before going to have tea with Bhim and Rama. Phulari also leaves. Deepak tells Shoba that Phulari was with Bhim but is now against him, Shoba says that things change with time, Puran coming informs that there are a lot of people in society who think of people as right or wrong with their own benefit, he mentions he went outside so also brought the fruit for them both, Shoba asks what was the need when Puran reveals he is a brother so can do this for her, he asks her to bring it on a plate. Deepak tells Puran that when Phulari would need any assistance then will only remember Bhim who will also help them. Puran asks Deepak if there are any games in his school.
Meera while having tea tells Ramji how they can still not find the slipper of Rama so she suggests they all should search for it together, Jija Bai says if it is not in the house then how would they find it, Rama coming from the bedroom tells Lakshmi how can she find her saree so where is it, lakshmi says she might have placed it in the wardrobe so Rama goes to open it but it is locked when the slipper falls from the top of the wardrobe. The entire family is shocked and then Meera asks who would have placed it there, Lakshmi says that now the only question left is weather Karuna or Aai hid it, they both refuse but Ramji tells Karuna he knows who does anything in this house. Rama replies they think she would stay quiet if she loses her slipper but it is wrong.
Meghnat tells Shamla to not think he would think she is his well wisher when she just gave him a cloth but rather his real enemy is Bhim Rao, they would not have any problem if the people of lower class lied in the same manner but Bhim desires to be a leader which is not the right thing. Shamla replies she will never think of it and is surely going to keep fighting against this society and her father in law but never forget the responsibilities she has as a daughter in law, Shishupal is listening to their conversation from the window.
Bhim is with Rama saying today he will get the salary and then bring the medicine for her feet, she says that she is fine however he insists mentioning he will even bring something else, she gets curious however he replies it is a secret, she says if he does not tell her then she would keep thinking so he says she must indeed think of it. Phulari tells Bhim they found the slipper but were blaming Karuna or Jija Bai without any reason, she says they should have thought if they had stolen the slipper then would have they hid it in the Chawl. Rama tells Phulari not all the thefts are for the sake of money but some times they are done for the same reason as to what she is doing., Deepak coming mentions she is just teasing them, Phulari replies she is herself teased and everyone in the Chawl knows that there is only one person in this Chawl who teases everyone and he is Bhim, Deepak remembers what Puran said and then calls everyone from the Chawl to come out, Bhim asks what is he doing when Deepak replies what Bhim never does, he says Phulari should sear on the life of Jaggu that she would never take the help of Bhim, he asks Deepak to not do it since she is their neighbor but Deepak replies he does not say anything so they just take advantage of him, Phulari says she would swear and then she swears on Jaggu that she would never take the help from Bhim, he mentions there is no need. Shoba mentions there was surely a need for it, she suggests they all should remember what Phulari has said today but she prays that Phulari needs the help of Bhim so everyone realizes that Bhim is the Leader for them, Nandu and Puran agree. Bhim says that Phulari surely did not have to do anything because he is surely going to help them and fight for their problems, Phulari angrily replies there is no need to fight for them and he should just go to his work, Bhim says he still does not know why this all happened, he tells that Shoba and Deepak should also not have said so much, he leaves while Rama is tensed.
Shoba says to Phulari that Bhim has left but she will not ask Bhim for help under any circumstance, jaggu assures they would not ask when Manohar mentions that the entire world is living without Bhim and even Phulari would not ask him. Puran says he heard that Bhim played some game for this Chawl, Manohar says that even they played the game so Puran should not say anything as he is not of their Chawl but Puran replies they did not hear him when he said he will live in the Chawl as the brother of Shoba, Deepak explains while he is his uncle. Rama says they all should not think of her husband but she says they must never talk bad of him again, she asks Lakshmi to come with her so they both leave.
Bhim is walking when he meets Shamla so mentions he was eager to hear what happened, Shamla replies she lost but with a smile reveals she made this pudding and so he should have eat. Bhim asks the entire truth, Shamla reveals how Meghnat was already wearing the cloth but she pleaded with him to throw it before Shishupal wakes up as if he sees his father like this then the trust of a son would be ruined. Bhim says that there are very little defeats which are worthy of praise and she actually deserves it, Shamla asks Bhim to return the pot while coming back from his work so she can make something else, she turns but is shocked to see Shishupal standing in front of her.
