The episode begins with Ramji and Anand returning to chawl. Ramji asked everyone to go back to their works and respective homes. Police barged in in order to arrest Arti. She asked if she was being arrested for running away with child of David’s employee. Police corrected her, said that she has been found guilty of supporting the enemies. Bhim Rao questioned; they are making a pointless case. David came to chawl, asked Bhim Rao who know about law to working on his case and gather evidence to present in court. Arti was called to be arrested. Rama wanted to stop them. Bhim Rao let it be, he will fight a case and get Arti back with justice. David threatened to make enemy of anyone who supports Arti. Joku assured that they will not support Arti. David asked everyone to make a habit

of being subservient to British Government. Bhim Rao asked David not to fall deep in his ego, his rule will come to an end one day. Rama requested Ramji to stop Bhim Rao, or the matter will escalate. Ramji leaned forward to draw Bhim Rao out of the argument, he asked him to back off since it wasn’t a matter of government and rule. David left. Bhim Rao was leaving for court, Lakshmi wanted to join him, but Anand stopped her. Ramji and everyone turned around. Anand wanted to help Bhim Rao; Anand refused to let her do so. Lakshmi questioned him for behaving like Bala. Anand has the right to demand something from his wife. Bhim Rao interfered. Anand didn’t hold back. Rama called Anand. He asked everyone not to worry, he will neither abuse nor torture Anand like Bala did. He took Lakshmi with her. Rama and Bhim Rao went to court. Meera asked Ramji about Anand’s behavior. According to Jijabai, sense knocked into Anand at the right time. Ramji asked them to let it be for time, Anand is facing a different scenario.

Deepak revolted; he didn’t want to go away. Shoba is left with no choice but to leave with her son, she can not bare him getting injured in this fight against David. One of David’s employees came questioning Shoba for leaving. She shouted at the man for being unfair to his own people. The employee taunted; he wasn’t of the same caste as Shoba’s. He asked if everyone in the family run’s away just like Shoba’s husband or Arti. Deepa threatened to beat the man’s head open. The man wasn’t stunted, he taunted Deepak for having blood of someone who ran away. He left.
Lakshmi requested Anand to step aside. He refused, asked her to take back her oath of not letting him work. She asked if he was doing all this because of that oath. Anand asked her to understand whatever she wants. Anand made him swear to tell the truth, what made him bring her upstairs in front of everyone. He yelled, he wanted to work, he was getting more ill while the medicines were getting more expensive. Anand wanted to live with Lakshmi, he asked her to set him free. Lakshmi burst into tears. She asked what the doctors said. The doctor told that his medicines have become more expensive than before, he didn’t want anyone to know about this. Anand didn’t want to overburden Bhim Rao, for whom he can give his life. Lakshmi assured that nothing will happen to him, they will live together.

Hitesh taunted Ramji for having another son like Bala. Ramji wasted his life trying to make his son better humans. Meera stopped him, Anand, Bhim Rao, Lakshmi, and Rama are different from Bala. Lakshmi came outside, Meera asked if she talked to Anand about what happened. Lakshmi agreed with Anand, they can not waste their time going after Rama and Bhim Rao every time. Ramji questioned her. Lakshmi said that they need money to run their house, she doesn’t get pension like Ramji. She prayed for Bhim Rao to find a lawyer but right now she needs to find work for herself. Joku mocked Ramji, things turned around complete for him. Ramji wondered what made Anand flip like this.

At night, David came to police station. He went to Arti’s cell. He has handled a lot of women like her before, but she crossed all limits, so he had to lock her up. Bhim Rao might arrange a lawyer, but the child will die tonight. He did try to convince her to lose the child as he didn’t want to name him. Today he will force the medicine done Arti’s throat. With help of other policemen David forced Arti to take the medicine while she begged him not to do so. The child was their sign of love. David blamed Arti for it, he didn’t want anyone to know about it, he could have let her live if she ran away with the child.

Bhim Rao wondered when will his lawyer come back to Bombay because all the lawyer, he visited today refused to take the case. Everyone is afraid of David. Rama asked how they will free Arti. Bhim Rao suggested to visit every Lawyer’s house.
