Dhansukhlal announces that they will play instruments in every corner of Satara in the evening as per Guru ji’s order. It is to keep the negativity at bay. Sakpal family knows it too well that is an attempt to stop Bhima from studying. Mangesh and Dhansukhlal look pointedly at Bhima and Ram ji. Ram ji and Bhimbai take everyone inside.
Devdasi says all the people here are afraid of Bhima and Ram ji. I have been to many places with you but I haven’t seen such people before. They get afraid so easily. Maharaj denies. It is Bhima and Ram ji who aren’t afraid of anyone. It makes one adharmi. Devdasi reasons that they cna also harm them one day if this continues. Maharaj says they aren’t strong enough to shake dharma yet. No one can do anything to people like us till the time dharma is there. we must think of something though. She requests Maharaj to free her from the duties of a Devdasi for some time. I have created upheaval in the life of many people before. Ram ji is no different. Maharaj likes her idea. Precap: Devdasi stops Ram ji when he is going somewhere alone. She pulls at his kurta. Ram ji tells her to let go of him but she shouts for help to gather people. Mangesh and few other villagers come there. They glare at Ram ji. Bhimbai asks Bhima why his Baba hasn’t returned from the market yet. Mangesh says he will come only when he will get over his lust. Bhima tells him not to say such things about his Baba. Mangesh advises them to go to Panchayat and see for themselves.
