The people of upper class vow that they all are Meghnath and fight his war, they say they are going to take revenge of it before the evening while until then they would not eat anything and after completing their mission will have a drink, they all swear.
Bhim while standing is thinking about how he got Meghnath arrested, Rama comes to his side asking what happened, he replies he is just thinking that like a persons journey ends when they becomes ashes then justice surely happens, had Meghnath mended his ways then he would have taken food for him but he is sure Meghnath will throw the food. Rama says if the person does not understand their emotions then they should let it be, Bhim asks if Shamla and Shishupal jee have had the food, Rama replies that she saw it while returning.
The people of the upper class in the morning vow to torture each and every person they find from the family of Bhim and they plan to even use the gun.
Aalekh comes running calling out to Bhim and Ramji, he reveals about the incident that happened with the students of Rama and Shishupal last night, Jokhu says they all should suffer now as who knows how many people are going to get hurt, Bhim asks where is Bala, he goes to Karuna asking about Bala when she replies he went to search for work, Rama asks in which direction when Karuna says that he did not tell her, Ramji leaves with everyone when Shoba asks Jokhu to also come but he replies why do they care if Bala lives or dies, Phuliya slaps him when she says she could understand it when he feels this for Bhim but what is this about Bala, Jokhu starts torturing Phuliya when Manohar and Janardhan stop her, Phuliya pleads with Jokhu to let her go.
The people of upper class see Bala coming and then forcefully hold him, Bala says he is also against Bhim so what would they get with torturing him but they keep hitting Bala with wooden sticks. Ramji is also searching for Bala with Karuna but the people say that he did not come here. Jija Bai along with the other members of the chawl are also searching for Bala. The people keep torturing Bala, who requests them to let him go. Phuliya gets unconscious when Jokhu hits her on the head with a stick.
Bala gets unconscious when the person is about to pull the trigger but Rama goes to stand in front of Bala, saying they should shoot at her when the person replies he does not care about who dies, Rama says she will not let anything happen to Bala, Rama sees the gun, and so runs to stand in front while she gets hit in the arm with the bullet, the people of the upper class are shocked by it, Karuna is also stunned. The person orders her to get away but she vows to not let anything happen to Bala, the gun falls when the person gets hi by a rock but he picks the gun again before running away with the men. Bhim asks Baba to see Rama when Ramji suggests they must take her to the hospital. Bhim along with Shishupal jee enter the hospital with Rama when the doctor asks them to take her inside, Jokhu also enters the hospital with Phuliya who is unconscious.
Jija Bai asks Manohar what happened, he says that Phuliya was getting out of hands so Jokhu taught her a lesson, Shoba slaps him saying who should they be worried for either the people of upper class or their own, Bhim comes out mentioning they should pray as everything would be fine, Karuna starts crying while holding the hand of Bhim, Jija Bai asks Karuna why is she crying, Meera Bua also asks if the doctor has said something.
Bala and Rama both are lying on the stretcher, Karuna says the condition of Rama is not good, Jija Bai asks about Bala, the doctor says Bala and Phuliya are fine but Rama is not well because of the bullet and if they are able to save her by the morning then she will life otherwise they cannot say anything. Everyone gets worried hearing about it, Bhim also gets tensed thinking of Rama saying nothing would happen to Rama as how can anything happen to her, he walks out. Ramji asks everyone to be calm assuring nothing is going to happen to Rama. Jija Bai takes Karuna to the side while she is still crying, Jija Bai then asks if Karuna has gotten mad, as Bala is fine then why is she bothered about Rama even if she dies or not, as this is what they had desired for so many years but now when it is happening according to their desires then she is crying. Karuna thins of when Rama came in between Bala, Jija Bai says she knows Karuna has been thinking of how Rama saved Bala but is the pain of all the troubles that Bhim and Rama given them worth more then the suffering. Jija Bai says that Karuna should think Rama wanted to prove herself good, she would have done the same for anyone then there is no reason to be so touched, she asks Karuna to go and sit with Bala as he should be with her whenever he wakes up.
Bhim is slowly walking outside the hospital, he stands on one side thinking how Rama walked in front of the bullet in order to save Rama after which the people of upper class left. The doctor also mentioned the condition of Rama is not good and they have to wait till the morning.
The people of upper class come to Bhim, saying they have to show him something and bring a cotton person which they set on fire in font of Bhim after pushing him on the floor and throwing kerosene over it, they say that they believe if they want to get rid of someone then should burn this cotton person after putting that persons cloth and they today want to get rid of Rama, so they burn t after putting her saree on it. Bhim is shocked seeing it in front of himself,
