In this episode Jijabai question Sriram about him helping lower caste. Sriram leads them a way to follow for themselves. Jijabai has a problem with Bhim Rao, his stepson, she, and her husband has become distant because of him. Ramji came, he denied Jijabai’s statement. Rmji welcomed Sriram, he told Ramji that he already met Bhim Rao, didn’t tell anyone here about it. Ramji told Jijabai that Bhim Rao sent him here to welcome Ramji in the chawl. Joku and Phuliya came with tea, Sriram asked them to serve everyone else first. After having tea, Sriram requested everyone to come to the conference, they will meet near the station. Hitesh asked why he came here when everyone would have met him in conference. Sriram said that it was his home, he can visit anytime he wants. He left. Ramji
Hitesh informed David and Joku about Sriram’s visit. Joku asked what happened. He told that Sriram asked them to gather at a point near the station, he will take them to conference from there. Joku assured that no one from the chawl will go to the conference.
Prasad asked Sriram if the chawl members who have met David will be stopped by him. Sriram refused, David works for the British Government, according to him 4 to 5 people will make no difference.
David told Hitesh that it doesn’t. Hitesh wanted to go, Sriram talks and supports lower caste. Everyone in the chawl is willing to go to the conference. David permitted him to go. Joshi questioned David. He doesn’t think that few people will make any difference. He wanted to meet the Governor. Joshi assured that his manager will come with a good news.
Sriram asked Prasad to arrange black strips. He questioned the need of it.
All the chawl members came to Sriram, he asked them to cover their eyes with that black cloth. Everyone did what he asked.
David came to police station; he couldn’t see any help with Bhim Rao. He asked for a table, had a surprise for Bhim Rao. David placed a sand clock on that table to set a time for Bhim Rao to run. He asked Bhim Rao to take Arti with him as well.
Sriram asked everyone to grab each other’s hand and follow him saying that they will always support their caste. Everyone followed him.
Daliya came to talk to Anand and Lakshmi. She considered them both very near to Bhim Rao and Rama, she couldn’t go at his protest because of her old age but why didn’t Anand and Rama go. Lakshmi got tired from finding work, she wanted to rest. Daliya informed about Ramji’s visit to Anand this afternoon. Ramji told Anand that he and Bhim Rao were waiting for Anand and Lakshmi at the station. Anand replied that they decided not to come. Daliya asked if there was any rift between that she can solve. She doesn’t like seeing them part ways, Rama and Bhim Rao don’t want that as well. Anand apologized but he can not work side by side with Bhim Rao. Lakshmi added that they need to find their own way in life.
David reminded Bhim Rao about the passing time. Policeman called Bhim Rao a fool for not taking the opportunity, they would have apologized if were at his place, but he would rather have his old father and companions suffer because of his stubbornness. Bhim Rao asked police officer if he ever trusted someone. Arti told that she did, as long as there was trust she claimed victory. Bhim Rao trusted someone like that as well, he is sure that person will not break his trust like David. David told him about the English saying, “come before the stone”. He asked them to pay attention to this silence. Sriram came to station followed by chawl members shouting to support their caste every time. Sriram asked everyone to untie the cloth. Everyone was shocked to see themselves in police station standing behind Bhim Rao and Ramji. Hitesh questioned Sriram. He told that he made them follow the slogan, his cast members were here. He knew they wouldn’t have come here with open eyes. David threatened them with the arriving army. Sriram told that David will suffer the consequences. He questioned police officer that how he will answer the higher authorities why he had an entire chawl killed, he can never prove them all terrorist. Everyone sitting here accepts Arti’s innocence. In case she is guilty; they must prove it with evidence. Sriram knew that David sent some of his men to talk to Governor, he has enough approach to know that information. In few minutes thousands of people will gather here for a conference and by next morning everyone will come to know about David’s doing.
