Bhim runs towards the saree of Rama and tries to remove it however seeing this the people of upper class start smiling, Bhim tries his best to turn out the fire and even manages to do it but in the mean time the saree is ruined, Bhim recalls how he saw Rama hanging the saree, the people say that according to their traditions his wife would die in the morning and they would do it to the remaining members of his family, they leave saying they have started to take revenge for what Bhim did with Meghnath. Bhim starts crying while holding onto the saree of Rama. The doctor keeps checking Rama who is still unconscious and breathing heavily, the doctor orders the nurse to call her family members here as she will stay alive for just a few hours, the ward boy informs the family that Rama might
Bhim entering the room is shocked seeing Rama breathing so heavily, Shoba quickly goes to sit by her side when the doctor informs he is trying his best while they are doing their best to make sure she breaths properly but if they donot get normal till the morning then it will be difficult to save her, Meera Bua says it cannot happen. Ramji tells Bhim that he should take care of Rama while sit by her side, Bhim asks Shoba kaki to get aside as he wants to talk with Rama, Bhim then holding the burnt saree of Rama goes to sit by her side on the bed, saying the people of the upper class were burning the saree with a fake body saying it is their belief that the person dies, he replies however he is not going to let her die and their life is just like this half burnt saree, they cannot survive without each other so she cannot leave him. They have to fight a lot then how can she run away in the middle of the fight.
Jija Bai is standing when the students come so she stops them revealing their Rama is breathing her last breaths while the family is with her and so they should leave, the students say nothing is going to happen to their Rama and they start crying, Bhim is also saying the same thing sitting with Rama, Bhim mentions they have made a lot of promises to fight so many wars and if Rama is not alive then how will Bhim Rao fight and they have to do a lot of things, he says one can even fight with death if they try to so she should fight for him. Bhim tries to wake her up but Rama does not respond at first seeing which he gets worried, Ramji notices along with everyone how she has stopped moving, Ramji asks the doctor to see what has happened to his daughter in law, the doctor starts checking her and then reveals he feels that she might not be able to survive. Bhim along with everyone else is crying when Bhim says she wanted to come with him to Delhi and what about the library in which she wants to stay alone, he says there is still a lot of things left, Bhim is not able to control his emotions but Rama does not respond, Bhim backs away while just staring at Rama when he notices that she has started breathing.
Karuna is sitting with Bala who is injured and Phuliya is on the other bed, the nurse comes saying now Rama cannot be saved hearing which Phuliya wakes up, she gets worried as the nurse turns away. Phuliya sits on her bed saying nothing can happen to Rama she gets out of her bed to leave, Karuna also follows her.
Bhim says everything is left, they hear the students saying nothing is going to happen to their Rama. Bhim just keeps massaging her feet, the ward boy asks everyone to relax saying it is impossible that Rama can be saved as her breaths are slowing with each passing moment hearing which the students start crying while sitting on the floor but Jija Bai is smiling sitting on the bench thinking now Rama will end which is going to be her victory.
Bhim is still sitting beside Rama while everyone is crying and Bhim also loses his hope so starts crying profoundly. Rama slowly opens her eyes to look at Bhim saying she is alive and seeing which they all get stunned.
