The episode begins with Meera telling Jijabai that it’s a win that Bala is crying for his wife, the one he treated like a servant, the one he abused and tortured. It would be a win when Karola wakes up and sees her husband like that. Jijabai taunted, said that this victory made Karola fall pray to Bhim Rao’s conspiracies.

Next morning, Bala was making tea for Bala. Rama offered to help. Bala denied, he wanted to make it for Karola himself. Rama praised Karola, it was her battles that brought this change.
Jijabai asked Rama for tea. Rama asked her to wait. Bala was making tea for Karola. Jijabai mocked Bala for thinking Karola can drink tea. Meera asked Jijabai to be considerate to the situation, she will heal. Jijabai questioned. Bala told that Karola has always been

the one to think selflessly while he only cared about himself. It was time for him to return the favor. Bala left. Meera asked Jijabai to understand her relationship with Ramji.

Bala went to Karola. A man entered chawl driving his car. A lady came out of it. She was dressed in western clothes. Bala questioned her and the drivers’ manners. He asked who she was. Bhim Rao asked how she could enter the chawl like this. The woman asked them to be quiet, taunted them for being absurd. According to her, everyone was wrong while Arti was right. Rama said that the way she barged in with the car was wrong. Arti tossed a sweet in Rama’s mouth. She must have never tasted this delight. Arti is always right. Anand and Bhim Rao stood up, questioned Arti for her behavior. Woman asked who the man was. Bhim Rao introduced himself as Rama’s wife. Lakshmi asked Rama to spit the sweet out. Rama swallowed it in. Arti taunted Bhim Rao; his wife didn’t listen to anyone. She asked everyone to got to their work while she does what she was here for. Anand asked the reason for her arrival here. Arti told that she was here to meet Deepak’s mother, Arti is her younger sister. Deepak came, he was overjoyed to see his aunt. Deepak’s mother welcomed Arti. Arti questioned his sister for living near a slum. Deepak took Arti inside. Deepak’s mother apologized, told that she worked for a British officer. She has changed a lot. Lakshmi asked Rama why she didn’t throw the sweet. Bhim Rao favored Rama, she did right because Arti was Deepak’s sister.

Arti treated Deepak with sweet delights and chocolates. Arti told her sister that she will change everything in Bombay, her boss is a generous man. Deepak wanted more of the chocolate. Arti told it was a cake, only elite can afford. He asked for more but wanted to share it with chawl members as well. Arti stopped him, she didn’t like the people here. They neither appreciate nor care for the expensive delight.

Rama was making tea. Jijabai questioned Rama for humiliating everyone, Rama became silent for sake of a sweet. It showed them greedy. Rama didn’t like throwing the sweet. Jijabai taunted, said that the sweetness melted in Rama’s mouth cease it from opening. Meera asked Jijabai not to question when she can not listen. She must go outside and see how Bala was treating his wife. Jijabai asked Meera to select a single path to follow. Meera politely asked Rama to bring tea out for everyone.

Arti told her sister about his boss, David. He transferred to Bombay. She talked to him for a jo for her sister. Deepak’s mother didn’t want work there, she was happy here. She wanted to make Arti her favorite food. Arti told that she can not stay, has to leave for her Boss’s dinner.

Arti saw Bhim Rao and his family gathered around Karola from the balcony. She asked Deepak about them. Deepak introduced them.

Bala was begging Karola to wake up. Ramji had hope for Karola, he asked him to be patient but not change in the process. Bala refused to, Karola put herself in danger to save Bala. He will never leave her. Bala promised to love her forever.
