Karuna says that even though Lakshmi works inside along with the manager, Rama says it is enough and she would not say anything else which would not be good for her, Karuna says she is not blaming her but just raising a point when Rama mentions that even when the women tend to say such things to others then it will be wrong, Karuna questions why is she taking so much side of Lakshmi, Rama replies because what she knows is not known by anyone else however Lakshmi asks Rama to come as they need to talk about her work in the factory. Jijabai coming behind asks Karuna to go and play the same game at the factory which is going to make sure Lakshmi gets insulted and then loses her job, Karuna leaves while Jija Bai is smiling.
Sethji while having tea says he heard Bhim Rao
Bhim Rao pleads with them to not do it saying they are doing it to insult them, Shishupal asks what are they doing as an insult because it is his wedding and they need them to clean so if they do it with their clothes or without then what is the matter, Shishupal asks the three of them whom do they trust more either him or Bhim Rao, as it is now about the trust. Bhim says that they are just trying to humiliate them and their house is very far away so the three of them would get humiliated. Shishupal demands them to hurry saying they do not have a lot of time but Jaggu says they are going to do whatever Meghnat and Shishupal desire, Sethji explains they should remove their clothes but Bhim Rao mentions that the three of them are not going to remove their clothes. Bhim explains they have three objectives first to humiliate them by forcing them to remove their clothes and second to make them work a lot just for the sake of money and this is what they are worth doing while the third that they done this work even when Bhim Rao tried to stop them. Shishupal asks them to hurry but Jaggu agrees with Bhim Rao refusing to do this work hearing which Meghnat is shocked.
Lakshmi enters the factory when the manager asks who she brought, Lakshmi requests him to give Rama some work in the factory, the manager recalls the time when he was threatened with going to prison if he did not give Lakshmi his job, Rama says what happened was another situation but today she needs work and would do it with utmost desire, the manager asks Karuna if Rama should get the job or not but Karuna asks what can she say as the manager should decide, the manager says he is just asking the suggestion of Karuna because if she agrees only then would Rama get the job. Karuna says that if Rama stays here then she would keep arguing and only cause problems so Rama should not be given the job. Lakshmi says that if Rama gets the job then will earn money, Rama turns back to leave but the manager says he is surely going to give the work to Rama and Lakshmi must tell Bhim Rao that he was not able to give any teaching to Karuna. The manager thinks that he is going to cause an argument between the members of Bhim Rao’s family which would ruin everything, the manager curses Karuna for trying to cause problems for her family members.
Jaggu agrees he would not work but just has one condition, Bhim asks what is it when Jaggu says that Bhim Rao should give him the money equivalent to what Meghnat is giving only after that he would not work. Meghna says that now he also wants to see what Bhim Rao can do as he keeps saying that he first struggles and then wins, Jaggu and the remaining neighbors ask Bhim to give them money otherwise they would go to work, Bhim says this is not just about money, the neighbor says that just as Manohar and Jaggu he had a friend who used to write down the birthdays of the rich people and would give them free vegetables but never offered him even a single cup of tea so it is all about money. They ask if Bhim Rao will give them the money, Meghnat also demands an answer from Bhim who asks how would he give so much money, Sethji says that the money Meghnat is giving is equivalent to the two months’ salary to Bhim Rao, he asks if he should give the money to the three of them, Bhim Rao is tensed.
Lakshmi and Rama are smiling when Lakshmi says she has felt this nice after such a long time and tells Rama that work never ends here, she is even glad that the manager works in her favor and is not irritated like before, she is sure they both would work here and live a happy life. Rama appreciates Lakshmi who says she has gotten this very bad habit but Rama replies this is written in the diary of her husband that if they do not praise their helper then it will be a thankless society, Lakshmi says she can never understand the words of Rama and her husband.
The manager asks Karuna if she was able to hear the laughs of both Rama and Lakshmi, he says that this is due to her behavior of Karuna so she must learn to behave from them both. Karuna remembers how Jija Bai advised her to also play a game in the factory due to which Lakshmi gets scolded and is forced to leave the job, Karuna assures she will even act here.
Shishupal says that Bhim is thinking when it is of his pay, they all demand an answer from him. Bhim asks what would happen because Meghnat might even offer them some more money, this is why he keeps saying that their time would change when their thought become better but Jaggu warns Bhim to keep his thoughts to himself so if Bhim cannot give the money then they will go to work and that too on the conditions of Meghnat, he forces them all to remove their shirts while Sethji along with Meghnat and Shishupal are smiling.
