Scene 1
When electricity is back and Kamla finds that the baby in her lap is of Netti’, she faints. She doesn’t know what to do. Either should she inform Vitthal or not. She is crying and tells that Kalpana has been swaped with madam’s baby. Vitthal get up with a shock. How could you do this blunder? How can you be so irresponsible? She shouts at Kamla. Tears are slpping on Kamla’s cheeks. He hauls her hand and asks to go right now now to get Kalpana back. Kamla says i am feeding the baby. My foot says he. Do you care about what your daughter must be suffering there ? I want my daughter right now. You are a mother right? What kind of? You couldn’t distinguish between yours and another baby, says he. I feed them both i could do this. Yes i have made this mistake.
Scene 2
There is nettu’s house everybody is in slumber but Kalpana. She cries and Nettu wakes up to get her. She feeds the baby through the feeder but coudn’t clearly see the baby as she is covered by net. She sleeps off it again.
Scene 3
Kamla and Vitthal are standing on road along the baby and its raining heavily out there. She urges that she won’t take the baby out in the water. Vitthal says i will go there by my self. He glances her fiercely.
Kamla says you were saying that you won’t let me and kalpana go out even in drizzling. You don’t care about others child? He says no. All i have in my is that my daughter is there. And i will to to get her alone if you are not willing.
He is trying get some rickshaw to ride them over but when he couldn’t find one he tries stopping cars by the roadside. He stops a car but it leaves without even giving him a listen.
kamla says to him that Kapli must be sound and protected in that big house please lets go back.
He says if anything happens to my child i won’t pardon anyone not even you.
Scene 4
Mami jee asks Nettu to take the shower she then wakes Rajji up. Baby is still calm in her cot and everybody is oblivious to her identity.
Scene 5
Night is passing by and Vitthal can’t wait any more to get is daughter back.
Scene 6
Mami ji and Nettu are busy waking up everyone. Pooja has begun.
Scene 7
Vitthal hurridly passes the stairs and then the street. He stops a ricksahw. Kamla on the other hand is so worried. They are both in rickshaw and a dense silence is between them. Vitthal finds her playing with the baby which deteriorates his mood more.
Scene 8
Guru ji has asked to get the baby to him.
Kamla and Vitthal have arrived beneath the building. Kamla is covering the baby to protect her from sunlight. Don’t you care about your own girl? Says he and asks her to get in.
Scene 9
Nettu gets the baby out of the cot and realizes that its Kalpana and not her baby. Sahil comes in.
