Naina wakes up from nightmare. Raja’s words about calling him in any emergency echo in her ears. She thinks she can’t call a will to wash her face an emergency. She struggles to get on the wheel chair and operates her wheel chair to go to washroom. The snake from the bag had come out. Naina enters the washroom and was about to hold the soap when her chair fell off. She straightens to see the snake and screams out of fear. Laila was watching her through the telescope, enjoying her fear. Raja had heard her shouts and come towards Naina’s room. Naina sat into the bath with snake just pointing towards her. Raja enters the bath and holds a towel to throw at the snake cautiously. He then holds a bucket and places it over the snake, then helps Naina get onto her wheel chair. Laila wonders
In the room, Raja sits beside Naina to put the medicine over her feet. Naina denies letting her husband touch her feet. Raja recalls Rani’s words. Naina says he has done a lot for her, she doesn’t want to burdenize him. Raja says she is a precious pearl, who brought him out of his shell. She freed him of his burdens, he had been suffocating in Rani’s memories. He got his breathing back and this is nothing in front of what Naina did for him. He puts the ointment on her foot. Naina wonders where the snake came from. Raja was lost in some thought, realizing who was behind this all. He was done with medicine and holds Naina back to her bed, then lay on the floor nearby. Naina was ready to sleep on the floor. Raja says he is used to. Naina says his house is greater than palace, how is he used to it. Raja tells her to sleep silently. He weeps missing Rani.
Laila comes to basement determined this time Naina won’t be safe.
It was morning, Naina wakes up to find Raja disturbed of sun rays entering through the window. She plays by covering them for him for a while. Raja wakes up by a jerk, then brings medicines for her. She gets weepy about the bitter syrup as good morning, he stuffs it in her mouth. He hands her an oil bottle his dadu got for her and tells her to put it on her feet. Naina’s feet ache by her touch. Raja was concerned and asks to put it on. He promises to keep his eyes shut as she was conscious. Laila watched this.
Laila cried in her room as she joined a few wires. Nani comes to hold her hand. Laila says she can’t let Raja belong to anyone else, Nani must only do what she is asked to.
In the outdoor temple, Raaj Mata tells Naina that in their family, a new bride lights a flame in temple, then pours water to tulsi. Naina lights the diya but it goes off. Nani and Laila smirks watching this from a side. She remembers pouring water in the cotton earlier. Naina was worried as the diya doesn’t light. Mummy holds it a bad omen if it doesn’t light for a third time. Raja dips the cotton again and holds Naina’s hand to light the flame. It was finally lit. Laila goes to pour gun powder over tulsi plant. Raaj Mata takes Naina to pour water over Tulsi. Raja takes a leave. Nani joins the Pooja. Naina pours the water and the tulsi burns at once. Nani says this isn’t tulsi but the family member’s fates that burnt with it. Naina was upset.
PRECAP: Nani had called some ladies for a Pooja. Raja tells nani it is useless, but Naina insists on him not to deny. Nani winks at Laila.
