Kaka’s daughter says to Gayatri that her life has been saved, still it seems she has been drowned. Gayatri says that sometimes a person is drowned without water. Kaka asks Gayatri why she didn’t let him tell Rana ji about her identity. Gayatri says there would be a problem if someone knows about it at home.
Rana ji looks into the papers of water stream. His guard asks who allowed them to pay tax on water. The person tells him that it was because of the orders of his uncle Kunwar Chandarwardan, the money doesn’t go to government but his uncle and British. Rana ji says that now the British will know that this state is no longer without a heir.
Gayatri’s mother tries to get Seth ji’s attention. She tells him that all the girls of Gayatri’s age have been married and gives

examples. Seth ji says he knows about Gayatri’s age but he couldn’t find a guy able to marry Gayatri. Her mother says that a girl who has been considered as unlucky will never marry. Seth ji says he will not marry his daughter to anyone, but look at the guy well. She asks which prince will marry Gayatri. He laughs at the condition of Prince. Munshi ji brings notice of court, Seth ji sends his wife inside and asks the Munshi to read it. He reads as it was a notice to Raaj Mata that the royal family is in debted with 35 lacs of Govind Seth. He wanted to meet her but she has denied it, now he deters Raaj Mata to file a court case against them. Mushi ji says they are royal family of the state, Govind Seth says that they got this pride because of their crown but their crown have been mortgaged to him. Raaj Mata was angry at the notice, didn’t take it into consideration and tore it in front of Munshi ji. She says that she will get signed the pact to increase taxes from Rana ji tonight.
At home, Bhabis were taunting at Gayatri being late, Maa was worried when Kaka and Gayatri enters the house. Maa questions Gayatri where was she, is it any time to return home else her own Bhabi’s will taunt her? She says that when she leaves home she takes their respect with her. She questions Kaka where was Gayatri. Kaka stammers, Bhabi asks Maa to ask Gayatri whose coat is this. It seems to be an expensive one. Kaka explains that it was raining, he asked someone from his coat in the way as Gayatri was getting wet. He tells Maa that Gayatri is really tired and needs rest. He sends Gayatri inside and goes to get milk for her. Bhabi’s comment that it seems Gayatri went somewhere else with Kaka.
Rana ji comes to palace, Raaj Mata says she was also waiting for him and telling the officer that his planning to increase the government treasury has been great. His uncle says that their friendship to British have proven to be fruitful for the country. Rana ji says he can see this. The uncle asks him to sign the pact then, Rana ji says that a farmer doesn’t cultivate on the papers but the land itself, he went to meet the farmers and found out that the farmers had already been paying great amount of tax. Raaj Mata didn’t know about the tax on water. Rana ji apologizes Mr. Wilkinson and says their farmers won’t be able to bear the double taxations and won’t be left to eat something from their own crops else. Mr. Wilkinson leaves, Raaj Mata is worried about their debt.
In the room, Gayatri comes in front of the mirror thinking about Rana ji. She removes the coat from over her which fells on the floor. Her maa comes in, Gayatri turns to her in shock. Maa watches the coat on the floor, she says a truth can be hidden from anything but a mother’s heart. Gayatri turns away. Her mother asks if she know who steals looks? Those who are thieves, and thieves enters the house only when a window has been left open. She turns to leave telling Gayatri to shut the window so that she can look at her mother into her eyes. Gayatri asks if she really doesn’t truth her? Her mother says she does, but she is afraid Gayatri may lose this burden. She asks her if Kaka is true? Then what about the coat and arriving late? She leaves saying a girl’s respect is really expensive. Gayatri is worried why she couldn’t tell her mother about meeting Rana ji.

PRECAP: Rana ji tells Raaj Mata he will do the pooja as the heir of his father. Gaytri tells Kaka that she needs to say thanks to Rana ji so she will go to him.
