Elvish Yadav, the popular YouTuber embroiled in the recent snake venom case, has resurfaced with a new vlog, marking his return to work. In the video, he shares insights into his tumultuous days spent behind bars and expresses gratitude towards those who supported him during this challenging period. Yadav’s arrest stemmed from suspicions of his involvement in using snake venom as a recreational substance at parties he hosted, leading to a six-day stint in custody.
Describing his incarceration as a “very bad phase” of his life, Elvish Yadav reflected on the difficulties he faced during his time in jail. He remarked, “The past week was undoubtedly one of the toughest times I’ve experienced. However, I choose to move forward with positivity. I extend my gratitude to everyone, regardless of their stance or comments during this ordeal. I am grateful for the support.”
Expressing confidence in the Indian judiciary, Yadav emphasized, “I neither engage in wrongdoing nor speak ill. I have faith in the legal process.”
Addressing his fans, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner urged them not to be perturbed by recent events. He assured them of his resilience, stating, “I will confront this challenge head-on. I pray that no one encounters such adversities as I have. Nevertheless, it’s a part of life, and I will overcome this obstacle.”
Regarding his arrest, Elvish Yadav was detained by Noida Police on March 17 in connection with the snake poisoning case. Charges were filed under the provisions of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Despite initial challenges in securing bail due to a lawyers’ strike, Yadav’s plea was eventually heard on March 22. Following six days of remand, he was granted bail by the court. Yadav’s legal counsel argued that he was falsely accused and that no illegal substances were found in his possession or that of his friends, violating the NDPS Act. The court granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000.
