Riddhima opened her eyes and looked around. She remembers about last day, how Vansh rejected her proposal. Getting down from the bed, she moves in the washroom.
Standing under the shower with her eyes closed, her tears get mixed with the water. She sat there, hugging her knees close to her chest with the sitting with the support of shower wall.
Riddhima’s POV starts:-
I was only wrong, how can anyone fall in love with someone in first sight and I? What did I do I saw him, followed him and then went to his company as a secretary with fake name, fake qualifications and complete fake identity. I betrayed him, I broke his trust on me. Now I don’t even have the courage to face him. How will I…..?
No Riddhima, last night the role and games with the name of Ragini you played was over. He is engaged and now I don’t think there is any way we’re going to face off each other ever. I’ll give my resignation letter and they won’t even search for me as even they don’t have my address. That’s good. Now I’m just a doctor no more a secretary.
Riddhima’s POV ends-:
Riddhima came out of the washroom with a forced smile on her face. Coming down she looked at Rehaan sitting on the sofa with a tensed face. She came and sat beside him.
Riddhima: So bhai what’s good news?
Riddhima asked and he looked at her and then back to his file.
Rehaan: What do you mean Riddhima?
He asked in a confused tone.
Riddhima: You know what I mean. Di said yes?
He looked at her and then shook his head in negative with a small smile on his face, she smiled back and kept her head on his shoulder.
Riddhima: Bhai you’re the best.
Rehaan heard her and then keeping back the file on the table looked at her.
Rehaan: How?
He asked and she looked up at him.
Riddhima: Because now you’re going to take me for shopping without any of your bodyguards and then we will make our favorite dish and then at last movie night.
Riddhima said in a go and then looked at him.
Rehaan: No way, I’m having so many meetings lined up. Next time promise.
Rehaan said and got up from his place.
Riddhima: No bhai you can’t do this. Its last day of my holiday.
She said sadly.
Rehaan: No Riddhima you’ll have to wait.
Riddhima heard him and then saw Aarohi coming in. She looked at her with a smile.
Riddhima: Aarohi di. Good morning.
Aarohi just passed her a smile. Riddhima looked at Rehaan.
Riddhima: Fine bhai, I’m in my room.
Riddhima said and was moving back to her room when she heard Rehaan.
Rehaan: Aarohi do one thing, cancel all my meetings and you take a day off today I’ll spend my day with Riddhima.
Riddhima heard him and then hugged him.
Rehaan: Now go and get ready. I’ll get the car ready.
Riddhima nodded and left from there. Rehaan looked at Aarohi who was looking at him, he snapped at her.
Rehaan: I know I’m handsome but what you would-be husband will say if he saw you staring at me?
Rehaan said chuckling making her embarrassed.
Aarohi: Rehaan sir, actually I came here to resign from my job. I don’t think I can…
Before she could continue, she looked at Rehaan’s confused gaze.
Rehaan: Aarohi don’t think you rejected me so I won’t behave normally with you. You don’t love me that’s a different thing and we’re friends that’s a different. Don’t resign if you want to work. But if you feel you are doing right than that’s your decision.
Rehaan said and passing a smile to her left from there leaving her confused.
After 1 day, Riddhima was sitting on the bed with her laptop on, she had typed the mail thrice but result was still same. She wasn’t able to write a resignation letter. Taking a deep breath she gulped down the water and looked back on the screen.
Finally she did, sending the mail a small forced smile came to her lips. She is now free of the name Ragini, Ragini Mehra an unknown fake name which she never heard, never knew this name will leave a sweet memory in her life.

After 3 months,
Riddhima was completely busy with her life, although she said to her heart not to remember about him but even heart is heart how will he listen to her. He has to do what he wants.
A single day never went when she didn’t remember him or thought of him. Getting herself completely busy with the lined up surgeries and operations she tried to fill her mind with cases and ignore her heart but every time her heart wins over her mind.
Riddhima looked around the cabin, her work was over.
Riddhima: I don’t want to go home. But what will I do here.
Picking up her bag she moved out of the hospital. Inhaling the fresh air, she looks around to find none except her best friend, her moon. She got a habit to gazing at the moon while sitting free, sometime sharing her feelings with him. That’s relieving.
Driving the car back to RK Mansion, she frowns on looking so many cars outside the parking area. Stopping her car in front of the watchmen.
Riddhima: Has anyone came?
Watchmen nods at her.
Watchmen: Some of Rehaan’s sir business associates.
Watchmen said and parking her car enters in the mansion. She looks at Rehaan sitting and talking to few people there. She moves to them with her one hand having her stethoscope and other her apron. She looks at Rehaan with her raised eyebrows while others were sitting facing their backs to her.
Rehaan: Riddhima you came.
He said and moves to her. Riddhima saw as all turned back and looked at her. She looks back at Rehaan after looking all the unknown faces.
Rehaan: Aarohi, can you serve them. I’ll come in a minute.
Aarohi nodded on hearing him. Rehaan passing a smile to them pulled a confused Riddhima with him to his room. Crossing her arms close to her chest, she looks at her brother with a confused look.
Rehaan: Riddhima, get to your flashback and try to remember. We had a conversation that you’ll meet one of my friends’ son. They are the one who are outside.
She stood there in the same position for more than a minute in a shocked state. He shook her.
Riddhima: Bhai, are you ok?
She asked him and he nods at her.
Riddhima: How can you…?
She literally shouted when he asked her to slow down her voice as others are outside, forgetting that they have a sound-proof rooms.
Riddhima: How can you call them without asking me? I know I said yes that means I’ll meet him but there was no talk that I will agree to marry him. I don’t even know him for even a second.
She asked shocked, few seconds she was thinking about Vansh and now her brother is seeking chances of getting her married.
Rehaan: Who asked you to say yes, you can say no even. I even don’t like him but at least meet him, talk to him. Then whatever will be your decision I’ll agree to it but you’ll have to give him a chance Riddhima. He looks too good but the issue is you’re not that good.
She looked at him with expressionless face.
Riddhima: What does that mean?
Riddhima asked and he looked at her.
Rehaan: Nothing, now keep this coat and stethoscope here and come out with me.
He said and she nodding followed him. Coming out Riddhima bend down and took the blessings of the elders present there with a smile on her face.
Rehaan: Riddhima, he is Kabir. Raj uncle’s son and a businessman. Kabir she is my sister Riddhima, a gynecologist as well as cardiologist.
Rehaan introduced them. After talking with each other for a while, elders send them to talk alone.

On the other side, Vansh rested his head on the chair leaning to it. He closed his eyes and smiled at his fate.
Vansh’s POV starts:-
Three months back, Siya, my younger sister she found a girl for me. Aarohi, her name is. I wasn’t knowing who she is, how she looks, I wasn’t aware about anything related to her still I tried to know her. Because if Siya found her for me than something must be good in her.
And the day when Ragini, yeah Ragini how can I forget her. Her hard work, from the first day of her joining, I only saw care and love for me in her eyes. She must have joined because of some of her personal reasons. That day when I asked her to come to my engagement party, she refused saying she is getting engaged and after two days of that she proposed me, how can I agree to her when I was also engaged but the shock was when she told me she wasn’t engaged.
That was the last day when I saw her, after a day of that I received the news from Angre that Ragini had resigned from her job. Why? This was the only question revolving in my mind. Had she joined this job just to propose me? Or what was the reason? I asked Angre to find her address and at least send her salary but he told me her address was wrong. I never saw her after that ever, no name, and no sign of her at all as if she vanished. Her file is still kept on my desk.
And after a month of that, I and Aarohi was going to get married but she refused saying she needs time. I agreed as even I don’t want to get married now I don’t know the reason but my heart isn’t agreeing for it. Today Siya asked me to go on a date with Aarohi, I don’t know if she will agree or not but I don’t think she wants to be in this relationship anyhow. Siya didn’t forced her than what must be the reason for her to agree, money can’t be she doesn’t look like.
Vansh’s POV ends-:
Vansh dialed to Aarohi and after a while she picked it up.
Aarohi: Hello, yes Vansh.
She said in a slow tone while he ignored it.
Vansh: Woah, Siya told you?
She didn’t said anything and he understood that answer is no.
Vansh: Will you come on a date with me?
Vansh knew the answer was no, so he didn’t said anything further.
Aarohi: Yaa…I’ll, you can send me the location.
Aarohi said and he humming disconnected the call. Closing his eyes again he again drifted into his thoughts.

Riddhima and Kabir came back and looked at others. After a while of their talk they left.
Rehaan: So you want me to refuse or will you do?
He said and she looked at him raising her eyebrows.
Rehaan: I got it, I’ll tell them.
He said and sat back.
Aarohi: But she didn’t refused yet. Riddhima, what’s your answer?
Aarohi asked her and Rehaan looked at her with a smile.
Rehaan: I know it’s no only. Right Riddhima?
Aarohi looked at him.
Riddhima: No, I agree.
She said shocking him. Aarohi hugged her tightly.
Rehaan: What but why?
Rehaan asked her confused.
Riddhima: I liked the way he expresses his feelings. He is good by heart and actually I deserve him.
She said with a slight smile and he left from there not saying anything.
Riddhima: What happened to bhai now?
Riddhima asked from Aarohi looking at his retreating figure.
Aarohi: Nothing, he don’t want you to get married. That’s it and when Uncle gave this proposal his reaction was same. It was me who asked him to take forward this relation.
Aarohi said with a smile. Riddhima looked at her.
Riddhima: You know everything about my bhai, di.
She asked and Aarohi ignored her.
Riddhima: Anyway di, I need a help. Can you ask Kabir if he can come on a date with me tonight? I want to know if more, I like his sense of humor.
Riddhima said and Aarohi nodded at her.
Aarohi: I’ll ask him to pick you up even.

Riddhima looked at Kabir, sitting in front of her looking at menu.
Kabir: So Riddhima, you agreed for the alliance.
Kabir said and she looked back at him.
Riddhima: Yes. You?
She asked and he kept back the menu.
Kabir: I don’t think I can refuse even.
She smiled at him.
Kabir: Why you have agreed? What about your Vansh sir?
He asked her and she looked at him with an expressionless face.
Riddhima: He was engaged three months back, according to the calculations he must be happily married right now.
She said and he nodded at her. As their dinner came, they were talking with each other about their likes and dislikes. Just then Riddhima noticed Vansh who got up from his seat and forwarded his hand to someone. She peeped at them as she know there was no chance he is going to notice or look at her. She saw Aarohi smiling and sitting in front of him with a smile. Her breath hitched and she looked back at Kabir.
Riddhima: Kabir, can we go somewhere else?
Riddhima asked looking at him.
Kabir: Why? Is Vansh here?
Kabir asked and she nodded looking at Vansh. Kabir turned back and saw him. He smiled at him and then looked at her sad face.
Kabir: It’s ok. Let’s go.
He said and after a while they left.

Vansh looked at his phone thrice waiting for Aarohi. When he saw her he just passed her a slight smile. Holding her hand, he made her sit in front of him and looked at her.
Aarohi: Sorry I was busy with some work.
She said and passing her a nod.
Vansh: Aarohi, I don’t want to stretch the matter more. I want to know why you agreed for this alliance.
He asked and she looked at him confused.
Aarohi: Ac….Actually if I saw truly than I love my boss. But he is my boss and I don’t feel that society will think good of me getting married to my boss and even I feel that you also don’t want to get married to me, you also love someone?
Aarohi looked at him embarrassed but this was needed to come.
Vansh: No actually I don’t know but I don’t want to.
Aarohi nodded and he looked at her and held her hand.
Vansh: See, if you don’t want don’t marry me but don’t force yourself to do something for which your heart don’t agree. You can refuse I won’t mind.
Aarohi licked her lips looking down confused what should be her answer, when she felt he left her hand suddenly. She looked up at him and saw him getting up and running out from there, she moved after him and saw him.
Vansh looked at Riddhima and thought to talk to her so he followed her. Coming out he saw her alone standing in the garden area of the restaurant, he came to her and patted her shoulder. Turning back Riddhima looked at him shocked, she saw Aarohi standing after him confused.
Vansh: Ragini, where were you? After that day you had resigned so suddenly, I know my answer must have hurt you but….
Before he could continue he was interrupted by Aarohi.
Aarohi: Ragini, sorry to interrupt Vansh but you’re mistaken she is Riddhima, Dr. Riddhima Khurrana remember Rehaan Khurrana. Your business partner, her sister.
She said and he looked at her shocked. Riddhima nodded at him and looked down.
Aarohi: You know she is getting married soon, today only she agreed for the alliance.
Riddhima looked at Aarohi.
Riddhima: Di you here?
She asked her not looking at Vansh.
Aarohi: Woah, I came on a date with him. He is my fiancée.
Riddhima smiled at Vansh and nodded. She turned back to leave when Vansh held her hand.
Vansh: I want to talk to you alone.
Vansh said. She closed her eyes and turning back looked at him.
Riddhima: I can’t talk now, my fiancée is waiting for me.
She said and he left her hand.
Vansh: Meet me in my office tomorrow.
He said and she looked at Aarohi who was confused.
Riddhima: Sorry, I’m busy.
He said and he ignored her knowing she’ll come. He left from there with Aarohi.
Riddhima: Now bhai will get to know.
She said and looked at her phone to see Kabir calling her. Disconnecting she came to the parking lot and saw him sitting in his car, entering in she passed him a smile.
Riddhima: Can we go home now? Actually I have some work tomorrow.
She said and he nodded at her.
Riddhima’s POV starts:-
In evening, when I left to talk with Kabir I was just waiting for a chance to refuse for this alliance, but I wasn’t knowing how I liked his sense of humor. In that half an hour, he never left a chance to make me smile. I wasn’t knowing till then that Vansh sir isn’t married and I know I need to move on from all that happened 3 months back. So I told everything to Kabir and as he agreed for all this. I decided to agree to this alliance and give it a chance. Time will help us know each other.
Now tomorrow, Vansh had called me in his office but why? Why he wants to meet his ex-secretary? Oh no, will he cancel my license. No please, I know I did wrong still my career is important for me. Being doctor wasn’t just an aim in my life but my passion also, I won’t let him destroy it. He can’t do this. I’ll have to talk to him.

Riddhima looked around the office to find no one, why will anyone come this early in the morning. Moving to the reception, she found none there. So she thought to directly move to his cabin. Clutching her apron tightly on her right arm. She looks around the corridor passing through the cubicles.
Coming in front of his cabin, she inhales a deep breath and then forgetting about knocking directly enters in. She frowns on finding none there. Moving in she looks around the cabin and smiling she moves to the section where his trophies were arranged. Picking one of them, she looks at his name written in bold. Keeping it back, she decided to wait for him. So, she sat on the couch keeping her head between her hands.
Voice: Didn’t you came too early?
She heard his voice and panicking got up, looking around to find none.
Riddhima: Am I hallucinating?
She asked herself and then was about to sit back when she saw him sitting on his chair turning his back to her. Her breath hitched when she saw his face. She didn’t said anything and looked at the floor.
Vansh: So RIDDHIMA…. Oh Dr. Riddhima? May I know why you lied to the company with those fake qualifications?
Riddhima heard him and stood there silently. He moved to her and keeping his hands in his pocket looked at her.
Vansh: Why you betrayed our trust? Even being a doctor, what was the need of applying for this job as my secretary?
She still preferred to stay silent testing his patience level.
Vansh: You know I can even send you to jail under the name of doing fraud with our company and as per proof we have your that fake qualifications file also.
Vansh said and she looked at him shocked with her eyes filled with tears.
Riddhima: No please….I agree I did all this but I didn’t have any hidden motive for doing this. I…I… did this just to experience the work of a secretary.
Riddhima said and he held her by her shoulders.
Vansh: Just for the name of experience, you won’t put your career at stake. You could have easily asked your bhai for this. You had hidden motive? What?
She looked into his red shot eyes.
Vansh: You came here that was ok. You even worked for the company without your real name? I want a valid reason or I’m filing a case against you.
He said and she closed her eyes as tears came out from her eyes while she was looking down at the floor.
Riddhima: Sir, Thank you for not telling about the whole matter to di but please don’t ask me the reason. I didn’t do anything wrong with the company.
She said and he looked at her wet eyes and holding her arms made her sit on his own chair. She looked up at him as he passed her a glass of water. She took it and drank it slowly while hiccupping in the middle.
Vansh: Sorry I didn’t mean to behave like that. Calm down and then tell me the reason.
She heard him and closed her eyes.
Riddhima: Sir, rem…..
She was about to say when she heard him again shouting.
Vansh: Stop calling me sir.
She looked as he again bend down to her level holding the chair and looking directly in her eyes. She nodded and preferred to continue when he didn’t moved back.
Riddhima: Si… Sorry Vansh, the day when I proposed you.
His eyes softened as he looked into her eyes. He nodded.
Riddhima: Actually one month before that I saw you first time in the shopping mall, I followed you from there to your office and on the way I heard you telling Angre sir that he is searching for a secretary for you. So I applied here and then joined.
Riddhima said and looked into his eyes.
Vansh: Reason Riddhima…?
He asked and looked at her panicked face.
Riddhima: Woah…Woah… I liked you since then and just to know you more. I came here as your secretary but while working with you I feel in love with you. And the day you rejected my proposal, I decided to leave this fake identity. Sorry but I was really not aware that Aarohi di is your fiancée.
She said and looked at the empty glass as she didn’t have the courage to look at him. A tear escaped from her eyes when he loosen his grip over her.
Riddhima: Please don’t send me to jail. If I would have been aware that you and Aarohi di are engaged and is about to get married I would have never moved with this thought.
She said and tried to look at him but loss of courage didn’t let her do. Vansh looked at her as tears came out from her eyes. He moved close to her and cupped her cheeks and made her face himself. Slowly caressing her cheeks, he moved closer to her lips. She closed her eyes and soon felt his lips on her. Bending down the chair more, he captured her lips and slowly started moving his lips up and down sucking it.
He left her and looked at her teary eyes and joined their forehead.
Vansh: I love you…
She heard his whispered voice and in shock pushed him making him fall on the floor. She looked at him as he winced in pain.
Vansh: What??
She opened and closed her mouth trying to form a sentence.
Riddhima: Are you mad?
She asked still in shock while he was shocked by her sudden transformation from sir to are you mad.
Vansh: What I did? I just replied to your proposal a bit late.
She heard him and then grabbing her apron moved from there. Opening the door, she was about to move when he pulled her back by her waist and pinned her to the door, closing it.
Vansh: What does this mean?
He asked her calmly while she looks into her eyes.
Riddhima: You’re late and don’t forget we’re engaged.
She said and he held her tightly by her waist looking into her eyes.
Vansh: About Aarohi, we were engaged but last night she said she don’t want to move further with this relation as I had told her everything and she only made me realize that I love you. And about your fiancée you’ll refuse him.
She heard him.
Riddhima: That can’t happen and now leave me.
She said and jerking his hand left from there. He looked at her retreating figure.

After 8 months:-
Riddhima moved in the room and looked at Rehaan sleeping on his bed. She moved to him and taking the glass full of water, she threw it over him and he woke up with a jerk.
Rehaan: Good Morning jaan.
He said and she threw the leftover water on him.
Riddhima: I’m not your jaan bhai, so get up and ask everyone to arrange everything properly the way I want or…?
She said and he nodded yawning and getting up moved from there when he heard her.
Riddhima: When is Kabir coming?
She said smiling at him and he rolled his eyes at her.
Rehaan: Ask him.
She moved out of the room and looks around to see everything perfectly arranged for their engagement. She moves into her room and grabbed the files kept on the table and arranged them on the book shelf. Opening the closet, she gets in and ruffles around her dresses but on not finding it she checks in the cupboard. Opening it she felt something on her waist and she was pulled in the cupboard.
In shock she closed her eyes but when she heard him laughing. She looked up to see Vansh.
Vansh: You again got scared.
He said and she glared at him angrily.
Riddhima: What are you doing here in my room?
She asked him and he moved closer to her only to be pushed back.
Vansh: Isn’t this my room even. So I came here.
He said and she held his hand which was moving on her waist and pulled him out of the cupboard.
Riddhima: In this dress you’re looking as if after getting up you directly came here.
She said and gave him his dress.
Vansh: I didn’t get my morning kiss. So came to take it.
She smiled at him and holding his hand pushed him in the washroom. Moving back she picked up her apron from the sofa and was going to move when she turning around saw him close to her. She moved back and he smiling moved forward.
Soon she felt the wall behind her, she looked at him and scared closed her eyes. She felt his hot breath on her lips.
Vansh: Don’t think too much, I just came to keep my phone here.
He said and moved back laughing while she threw the pillow at him.
Vansh: What I did? You were the one to imagine.
She pushed him in the washroom and closed her eyes as blood rose to her cheeks making her blush. She felt his lips on her cheeks and then opening her eyes looked at him.
Vansh: The day we got married, I promised you to fulfill your dreams. So I did.
He said and she looked at him.
Riddhima: And now if you again came back from washroom then…
Before she could continue he interrupted her.
Vansh: Then you’ll come with me.
She heard him and passed him a glare. On which he silently left.
Riddhima’s POV starts:-
Its 8 months, since the day Vansh proposed me. I didn’t feel right to break Kabir’s heart as I had once went through the same pain. But when I went back home I wasn’t aware that bhai had got to know about all this. He was angry with me but didn’t said a word to me.
At night, Kabir came to our mansion. I was in my room so he came and sat beside me. Next he told me something that again broke my heart. Kabir and Siya are friends and one month back since Siya got to know about me from Angre. She and Kabir planned to make me and Vansh face off each other and that night their plan got another success when Aarohi di herself refused to marry Vansh as she agreed that she loves Rehaan bhai.
As even she was aware about Vansh’s feelings from before because of his behavior. Siya, Angre, Kabir and Di, all planned to make Vansh realize his feelings for me. But I still refused to talk to anyone and especially Vansh about this matter as I don’t want to remember anything.
After a month of all that Bhai finally came to talk to me and that too about we’re going to USA as he don’t want to work anymore from here. I agreed as to forget all this I’ll have to move on because even if Vansh and Di have accepted their feelings. They never made a move to talk to us. Finally after all that when di got to know about us she proposed to bhai, I don’t know how, when and where but she did.
And now Vansh, he was being too stubborn. He didn’t came to talk to me after that even on knowing about all this plans, he didn’t. So if he didn’t then I went to him. I entered his room and saw him sitting on the sofa closing his eyes. Idiot, the perfect word for his pose. I moved to him and leaning close to his face, joined our forehead. He opened his eyes and looked at me. I know I shouldn’t have refused to his proposal but I wasn’t wrong at my place at that time but now he is wrong.
He held me by my waist pulling me down making me sit on his lap. I looked at him
Vansh: So, you came here to?
I heard him. I really wanted to say him that I came here to say I love you but better he don’t understand a simple language.
Riddhima: I came here to give you my wedding card.
I said and he forwarded his hand. I swear if I could kill him right now. He is testing my patience now. I look at him and saw him looking at me. I moved forward to pull him into a kiss, if he is mad then I’m stubborn. I know how to make him agree.
He held my waist tightly as I was holding his collar while sucking and moving my lips up and down. I broke the kiss and looked at him angrily.
Riddhima: You know how much I love you and still you agreed to let me. Don’t you fell anything wrong in that? You said you love me and when I was leaving you didn’t bothered to talk to me. Aarohi di is much better than you. She isn’t mad like you.
He smiled at me while I was speaking. I’m confused by his behavior.
Vansh: I said I love you and I was knowing you won’t leave me. So I gave you time. Don’t worry I’m not letting you go.
He said and pulled me close to him. I’ll turn mad solving him.
After few months of that, I and Vansh got married after bhai and di and today it’s Siya and Kabir’s engagement and I and bhai are from Kabir’s side while di…sorry bhabhi and Vansh are from Siya’s side and Angre is helping both of us equally.

In evening, Vansh looked at Riddhima who came and sat beside him on the couch gazing at the moon.
Riddhima: What are you thinking?
She asked and looked at him.
Vansh: Nothing….
He said and she kissed him on his cheeks.
Riddhima: I love you.
She said and smiled at him.
Vansh: I love you too…
He said and she smiled looking at him and held his hand entangling their fingers. He smiled when he felt her head on his chest listening to his heart beats. He wraps the duvet around them.
