@SHIVAAY’S ROOM
Anika is setting the bed when Shivaay enters.
Anika: Come let’s sleep Shivaay.
Shivaay: Anika can we sit for a while.
Anika nods.
They sit on the sofa. Shivaay lays in Anika’s lap while she cares his hair.
Shivaay: Anika I am tired of all this.
Anika: Me too.
Shivaay: Why can’t everything be back to normal.
Anika with tears brimming her eyes: I am sorry Shivaay.
Shivaay sits up seeing her teary and wiping her tears says: Please Anika it’s not your fault.
Anika holds his hand: You know even now I am hiding something from you still you believe me.
Shivaay: I trust you Anika because now I know what you did was for me only. Above all even I haven’t told you everything. Please can we keep our past aside and live this moment my heart pains when ever I remember it and please don’t cry you know I can’t see you in tears.
Anika nods and Shivaay lays back on her lap.
Both go down the memory lane few hours back when after Atharv’s arrival Shivaay dragged Anika to his room at pool side.

Shivaay: Anika before I say anything I want to know what happened that you left Mumbai please it’s really important for me to know and what happened when you gave birth to our babies.
Anika nods: Shivaay, Chanda and her mother took me to hospital and over there I gave birth to twins I was so exhausted that I couldn’t stay conscious but when after nearly 4 hours when I woke up doctors said that due to lack of blood our son died I couldn’t take it. Somewhere the mother in me didn’t believe this I was so much baffled that I acted out of my senses and then doctors gave me injection and put me to sleep I woke up nearly after day at that time Sahil came to me he pacified me made me to understand but nothing was helping I couldn’t believe this. Finally doctors suggested Sahil to take me from here somewhere away. He made me swear on him. I wasn’t left with any option so I took Suk and Sahil and left from here.
She bursts into fits of tears remembering that horrible day of her life that snatched her son from her. While Shivaay pacifies her with tears in his eyes, he consoles her as much as possible.
Anika after a while: But how did you find our son?
Shivaay: Anika I went to your chawl and from there I came to know that you were in hospital I got hell scared and came to hospital but then I got to know you have left. So I followed you. I even found your cab but somewhere I lost it’s track but after a while when I caught up with the cab it was too late, too late as that cab fell in the cliff it scared me too death. After few days the officers found three dead bodies one of a women and of a boy and driver everybody said that it maybe you and Sahil but my heart didn’t budge. That day I got call from Chanda and she called me to meet her in chawl when I went there she handed me Atharv stating him to be our child. She said that she bought him home from hospital and you had gone there for some check up with Sahil. I couldn’t believe it but that little life which was in my hands became my life. Our Atharv became my reason to survive. The police closed your case but I was determined to find you. 3 months day and night I searched you like a maniac, I searched you everywhere but didn’t find even a single trace of yours.
In the mean time mom use to get me proposals from rich houses I kept rejecting but one fine day she crossed everything and announced my engagement with Ragini it was too much for me to handle she kept blackmailing me by Atharv’s name at that time I didn’t know what to do so that night itself telling dadi and OmRu I left India and went to New York forever. I never came back every time rest use to come there but I never looked back. I could never get that strength to be back here I left India with Atharv he is our son all I wanted was to keep him happy nothing else mattered to me more then him nothing else. All this while OmRu stood by me like pillars. You know when ever I needed them they use to come there. They never forced me to return because they knew what I was going throw. My life had only Atharv and OmRu they all became the soul reason for my survival.
He ends up as tears flow freely down his kanji eyes making his vision blur.
Within seconds Anika hugged him and both broke down in each others embrace wending out the pain of 14 long years.
Anika: Why did Chanda do this?
Shivaay: I don’t know all I know is that after that day I never saw her she became mystery even when I searched for her she was no where. No trace at all.
Anika holds on to him even more tightly.
Shivaay: Anika I am sorry I tried to find you but…
Anika: No Shivaay mistake was on part of both of us.
No blames, no questions, no answers all that was left were two shattered hearts that could mend each other and no voice came but their hearts had scattered no cracks should be seen in that way they need to be mend each other’s heart.
That was what they were upto now heal each other was the only Moto.

Anika: Now what Shivaay.
Shivaay: Anika I want to find out why did we both end up here. If not for us at least for our kids.
Anika: I just hope Atharv and Suk accept each other.
Shivaay: I too hope the same. Let’s see what happens when we tell them everything tomorrow.
Anika: What will I answer Atharv if he ask me where I was since this long.
Shivaay: Don’t worry Anika I am with you I will handle him.
Anika says curiously: Shivaay today you show me Atharv’s childhood. How was he as a child?
Shivaay: He is an easy to handle boy. Sensitive, sweet, understanding but he is a big tadibaaz.
Anika: As expected.
Shivaay: But he doesn’t gets angry easily.
Anika proudly: Whose son he is after all?
Shivaay: Mine.
Anika hits him just to receive his chuckles back.
Anika: Okay so what was the first word he said, when was the first time he started walking, when he went to school, when did he grow teeth.
Shivaay smiles at her excitement: Relax Anika. I will tell everything but not the first word he said.
Anika cutely: Why?
Shivaay: I will make you hear it.
He takes out his phone and plays a video in which Shivaay is asking Atharv to speak “MAA” along with him are OmRu. Anika’s eyes teary up seeing that site as Atharv says MAA.
Anika kisses the screen.
Anika: Why did you ask him to say Maa?
Shivaay: Anika I wanted that our baby should be like you, I wanted him to be like you so I just wanted him to call you maybe by listening to him you come back.
He says as his eyes moisten up.
Anika hits him playfully: You are mad Shivaay.
Shivaay chuckles.
Anika: Now I know why were you so emotional when I told you about Sukanya.
Shivaay nods and smiles.
Another night flies with them cherishing the past.

Girls room
Abeer wakes up Sukanya.
Suk: What happened buddy today it’s an off.
Abeer: I know but don’t you want to talk to Atharv?
Suk gets up with a jerk and nods her head.
Abeer: Then go he is in garden. All the best.
Sukanya nods and after getting freshened up leaves.

Sukanya is trying to find Atharv when someone taps on her shoulder, she turns to see Atharv there.
Atharv: Hi doll.
Sukanya bites her lips as she senses him being hurt: Hi Atharv.
Atharv: So how come you aren’t hiding right now.
It strikes Sukanya that he came to know, clever him. How can she forget?
Sukanya: Sorry bhai. I didn’t mean to.
Atharv: It’s okay.
Sukanya: Athu please I said sorry, please listen to me, I want to tell you something.
Atharv nods.
Sukanya: Let’s sit first.
He nods and moves towards chairs kept in garden but she stops him.
Sukanya: Not there.
Atharv: Then?
Sukanya pointing at grass: There.
He nods and both settle down on grass.
Sukanya: Look bhai what I am going to tell you will be a big shock for you but please be calm and patient I will tell you everything.
Atharv nods: Say what you want to.
Sukanya: Bhai you remember once we promised each other that we will find our parents.
Atharv: Ya I remember that is the reason for you are here and I came here all the way from New York.
Sukanya: Ya and we have found are parents.
Atharv shocked: What? I mean I can understand that you found your dad but how come you find my mom.
Sukanya: That’s the point. (taking a deep breath and encouraging herself she closes her eyes and speaks in one breath) we are twins.
Atharv: WHAT?
Sukanya: Calm down bhai relax.
Atharv: No no. What did you say?
Sukanya: Yes we both are twins. Your dad is my father and my mom is your mom in short they are our parents.
Atharv : The women who hugged me yesterday that’s my mom. Right?
Sukanya nods and Atharv’s eyes tear up.
Atharv: You know doll when she hugged me I felt like my entire world was with me, that peace and contentment in her arms I can still feel it. You know last night when she served me dinner, I felt that incomplete void in my life has been filled. Remember i always use to tell you that once in my life i want mumma to feed me to serve me dinner the way every mother does. (Suk nods) you know she did that yesterday. She filled those empty voids.
Sukanya nods smiling at him, who knew better then her that how much devoid and alone Atharv use to feel how much did he crave for a mother. She knew him in and out more then even her papa would know him, more then anyone in the world. She knew him the best. She still remembers the first time when Atharv stood by her she was just 10 at that time, the first time he had said that he is like her brother, how badly she had wished at that time that this thing should be truth and today it’s true, all true.
Atharv looks at her as she is lost in remembering past and admiring her brother.
Atharv hugs her and both fall on grass: I am soooooo happy that you are my sister. This is the best thing ever.
Sukanya: I know bhai.
Atharv straightens up and helps her to sit properly after his excitement lowers a bit he questions her.
Atharv: What happened all of a sudden Doll?
Sukanya: I know you have many questions bhai but right now I don’t think so anyone has answer for those questions.
Atharv: Mumma and Papa?
Sukanya: No not even them. There are many puzzles here I am not able to understand anything and nor is anybody else able to interpret can you wait for some more time before things are disclosed to you.
Atharv: I don’t know. But why did mumma leave me?
Sukanya: She never left you she was made to leave you.
Atharv: How?
Sukanya: At your birth doctors told her that you are no more. Trust me I really don’t know what kept her from believing this all these years. Even I had accepted that my brother doesn’t exists but she didn’t. She never did it. Her trust bore it’s fruit today her son is in front of him all hail and hearty.
Atharv smiles remembering how Sukanya had told him about her brother 4 years back and how had he decided to accept her as his sister.
Atharv: Doll what do you want me to do now.
Sukanya: Okay three things.
First one, when mumma and papa tell us about each other we will agree and won’t stress them much.
Second, you will not tell anyone that I am your doll, you won’t even use that name in front of anyone. Call me Sukanya or Suk.
Thirdly, we need to find things out.
Atharv: All that is okay but you know I am habitual of calling you doll. I can’t help that.
Sukanya: Mr. Atharv Singh Oberoi either you change your habit or get ready to be kicked from your own sister.
Atharv nods seeing his sister getting into her angry bird avatar he had never had any good experience with her when ever she turns angry, she is destructive doubtlessly.
Atharv nods: But you have one more thing to do.
Sukanya: What?
Atharv: Pacifying Mani.
Sukanya nods helplessly: I was too rude.
Atharv: Too much.
Sukanya: Will have to do that too.
Sukanya is going to have tough time pacifying Manik although she is an expert in that. Oh if you think that it’s because they are besties. No then you are wrong. It’s actually because she is a perfectionist in releasing her anger on Manik and after that he stops talking to her so she has to pacify him everytime.
Sukanya: But I am so happy bhai that you are my brother.
She says literally jumping over him as he laughs over his crazy sisters antics, whatever it maybe how much bigger the mess she may be in she can smile anywhere and any how and that’s the reason she can bring smile on any face. This is the best version of her, her craziness completes her and when at the end of the day she is crazy all is well.
Atharv: Me too.
Come I had bought something for you I will show it to you.
He says and Sukanya’s eyes glitter in happiness. Both forgetting everything walk in whilst talking to each other and holding hands as Suk is one mad creature born on this earth who keeps bouncing like a ball whenever she is happy and presently she is at cloud nine as her brother is with her and that to without offending her. She knew how much he loved her even more than he loved his papa or anyone in the family. He could do anything means anything for making her smile but don’t consider him to be sweet, obedient and innocent brother at times he acts more jungle then Sukanya does. He is a perfect opposite of her calm and cool, yet arrogant and tadibaaz can’t help that both have inherited the trait from their lovely parents. While talking to each other they are oblivion of the surroundings and did not notice Shivaay and Anika coming down the stairs totally nervous as they doubted about their unpredictable children and their reactions and how can their doubts not be doubled seeing the two coming talking, giggling, jumping crazily all together.
Anika: Shivaay am I day dreaming.
Shivaay: STS.
Anika: What?
Shivaay patting his head: I mean even I think so I am day dreaming. Are these our own kids.
Anika: STS.
Shivaay looks at her doubtfully.
After descending down they both come in front of Sukanya and Atharv in a second both shush their mouths and leave each other’s hand.
Sukanya with nervous smile: Good morning.
Anika with raised eyebrows: Vo sab toh thik gaiwpar yeh sab kya hai?
(That is okay but what’s this?)
Sukanya : N.. Not… Nothing.
Shivaay: Do you both know each other?
Their eyes widen but soon compose.
Sukanya: We met outside.
Shivaay: Atharv meeting someone first time and being so happy in first meet???
He says in full to investigating mood.
Sukanya: Umm… Not first time but we met each other once before in a workshop a year or two back.
She said nervously as she knew denying would do no good as he will doubt her more, so she says expecting him to agree so he does but not completely.
Shivaay: Good then.
Atharv sighs: Good morning dad.
Shivaay: Good morning Atharv.
Sukanya with extra emphases: DAD???
This girl know’s how to settle scores first it was she who was nervous but now same nervousness reflected on Shivaay and Anika’s face, both looked at each other like a kids see their friends on being caught by teacher. While Sukanya and Atharv have tough time controlling their laughter as their parents looked super cute in this avatar to them.
Shivaay: Vo… Umm… Sukanya actually.
Sukanya: Yes billu ji I am hearing.
Atharv: BILLU JI????
Sukanya: That’s what I call him any problem.
Atharv nods in no and looks at his father with not so appreciable look.
Shivaay: Sukanya, Atharv is your brother.
Sukanya innocently: Brother???
Anika: Ya and Atharv Sukanya is your sister.
Sukanya: That means either way the same mom.
Anika and Shivaay look at each other.
Shivaay: You both are twins.
Sukanya and Atharv together overdramatically as it’s getting tougher for them to control their laughter: WHAT? When?? Why???
Shivaay and Anika back off with a jerk as the duo shouts.
Shivaay: Calm down both of you. Actually because of some problem in past Anika and I got separated because of which Sukanya was left with Anika and Atharv was with me.
Atharv: So now?
Shivaay: Now we are telling this to you both.
Atharv: Okay. But now will we get to stay together or we will again get separated.
Atharv’s question shocks Shivaay and Anika, while Sukanya waits for the answer calmly. Anika and Shivaay both look at each other. With Shivaay’s look Anika knew he is looking forward for her consent, she closes her eyes and remembers what all happened 14 years back, she remembers Shivaay his care, his love everything moves in front of her eyes like a film in fast forward motion.
Anika: We will stay together now.
Atharv smiles while Sukanya jumps in happiness and hugs three of them.
Sukanya: I love you guys.
Three of them smile seeing her happiness, that’s what completes Sukanya no trouble can be so big to rip that smile off her face and even if any trouble comes her family will stand in front of her to face it first.
Om who just entered the mansion after jogging sees Sukanya shouting and smiling: Hye Suk what happened? Seem to be super happy today.
Sukanya hugging him: Super duper se bhi upar happy. (More then super duper happy.)
Om: Oh ho but tell me what happened at least.
Sukanya: Mumma and billu ji have decided to be together always.
Om: Really.
Sukanya nods.
Om: Wooh Congo.
ShivKara look at each other where Om gives assuring smile to Shivaay who smiles back.
Sukanya sees Manik coming down.

Meanwhile Sukanya runs above the stairs to Manik.
Anika chuckling: Now begins the prime show.

Anika: Just wait and watch it will be fun.

Manik doesn’t pays heed to her and moves downstairs, Suk blocks his way by her hands.
Sukanya: I won’t let you go till you forgive me.
Manik pushes her hand aside and walks ahead but again she blocks his way so finally he bends and crossing from beneath her arm goes down while Suk makes puppy face.
By now everyone is in hall gossiping or doing their respective work.
Sukanya to Manik who is reading a book: I am sorry Mani.
Manik rudely + sarcastically: Let me do my work. After all it’s better to study rather then nudging people in exams. As if I have no work.
Sukanya pats her head and curses herself for saying those words as she just teases him by using the word cheating although he barely does that he is one heck of intelligent guy, although a bit non serious at times but damn clever and intelligent.
While Abeer gives Suk “first you pacify him then I have to do the same.”
Sukanya: Mani I will complete your assignment please sorry baba.
Manik sits beside Anika and Meher and starts talking to them giving a royal ignore.
Anika: Do one thing Suk.

Anika: Sit ups.

Anya nods and gives the letter to Manik, who sees it and keeps it aside thanking Anya.

(Di your time is going bad right now.)
Sukanya nods. Manik begins to leave.
Sukanya: Aab mujhe brahm astra chodna hi padega.
Atharv: What? Bhr… Astray…

Atharv nods.
Sukanya gets up and closing her eyes says in a single breath just hopping that Manik agrees this time.
Sukanya: Mr. Manik Malhotra I will cook one full meal for you please forgive me.
Well that hits the bull’s eye.
In a second Manik is in front of her: Are you sure.
Sukanya nods helplessly.
Manik: One full meal.

Sukanya sighs and agrees to it, while everyone looks shockingly at the duo. Manik the one who wasn’t ready to forgive her split seconds ago has now forgiven her, while Sukanya is helplessly noting the list of food that he is dectating.
Manik: Tomato soup, Paneer tikka, haryali champ, biryani, butter naan, paneer pasanda, dal makhani, malai kofta, kheer.
Anika: Aloo Puri.
Sukanya: Oh mummy ji relax I am cooking to pacify Manik, you aren’t angry with me so nothing doing.
Anika: Haaw. That means you will cook for me only when I am angry with you.
Sukanya nods.
Anika: Manik.
Manik nods: Write Aloo Puri too.
Sukanya gritting her teeth notes it down.
Atharv: Sizzlers for me Mani.

I think so I should take her to the priest near my old house he has magical powers and the donkey he has is so magical that with his one kick a person’s luck starts working. Everybody laughs sensing her nervousness where as Manik is all busy eating giving a damn to his surroundings literally gobbling down the food as if someone will snatch it from him.
Dadi holds Sukanya’s hands and kisses them: Suk your hands have magic. Your father also never made such yummy food.
Sukanya jumps in excitement: Really.
Dadi nods.
Om: Seriously Suk you are our new master chef.
Rudra: Ya right and Shivaay Bhaiya your position is gone.
Shivaay smiles broadly being proud of his daughter, while the rest giggle.
Anika to Atharv as he didn’t start eating: Atharv is everything okay beta why aren’t you eating.

Atharv comes in kitchen to have a word with his sister actually to taste kheer as he loved it and Sukanya cooking it is cherry on top.
Sukanya: Don’t even think Athu I am not giving you even a single bite.
Atharv making puppy faces: Please my little sissy, please.
Sukanya: Hahaha… Try these antics on someone else not on your own guru.
Atharv: Very funny. But you can’t be that mean to me. Just one small bowl I promise I will leave after that.
Sukanya nods and gives him kheer in small bowl. While seeing him an idea strikes her and she gets a band aid and bandages his hand.
Atharv: What are you doing doll?
Sukanya: Shut up Athu just don’t remove this until and unless I don’t ask. Otherwise no more kheer after this.
Atharv nods as he can give his world for kheer.

Atharv chuckles as Suk bites her tongue and mentally curses herself for not noticing it and underestimating her mother’s detectivebazi.
Atharv: Your extra smart daughter uses her brain more then required.
He taunts her just to receive an angry glare from her in return, for a brother the day will never be completed without teasing his sister to hell and that’s what Atharv enjoys the most in Sukanya’s company and the best part about her is she never takes these things seriously being heartily aware of his habit of having fun at her expenses but she is never too less.
Sukanya: Ya but didn’t anybody tell you that it’s bad manners to sneak in kitchen and steal food.
She says raising her eyebrows with a tit for tat smile.
Shivaay: What, Atharv you went to steal food in kitchen?

With same cunning smile. Sukanya then notices Manik eating food being oblivion of the world. She silenced everyone keeping a finger on her lips and then asked them to look at him. Everybody stares him but he gives a damn when he is with his ultimate love “FOOD”.

Manik: No response.
Atharv gets up and takes his plate away.

Atharv rolling his eyes: Dude you are a true foodie.
Manik: If you are done then return my plate.
Atharv keeps the plate back.
Sukanya: Beautiful (Addressing Meher) don’t you give him food to eat.
Meher: Sit and eat before he eats your part also.
Sukanya nods.
Anika feeds Atharv while his eyes moisten up and he sees her with all the emotions, while Sukanya smiles seeing the duo. Throughout the eating session all keep praising Sukanya for her cooking skills which according to them she has much more better than her master chef father.
Sukanya to Shivaay who is sitting opposite her: Everybody praised me but you. Didn’t you like food?
Shivaay smiles at her and says teasingly: Suk you know what you have taken away my position and expect me to praise you.
Suk’s face falls down.
Shivaay: Ohhhh… Relax I was just teasing you.
Suk gives him his own frown look but on her face.
Shivaay clearing his throat: You actually make better food then me and I am proud of it.
Sukanya smiles wholeheartedly.

Shivaay nods no and pointing at Anika and Atharv says: For this.

Sukanya nods.

He chuckles.

Four people enter the Oberoi mansion with an ear to ear smile plastered on their faces they are none other than Aditi, Ishaan, Rohan and Krish.
