Recap: chakor meet kamal narayan and the entry of the mysterious forest
Chakor’s pov
The men took me in the forest. I didn’t know what to expect. I was scared and nervous but I kept going. I wonder where Suraj was and how he was. I wish he’s ok. We were very deep in the forest now and it was a little dark.
“How far is he” I asked the men.
They didn’t respond. I looked behind me to notice them gone. I looked around. Where did they go? Was Suraj really hurt? Was this Kamal Narayan’s plan?
“Suraj, Suraj” I screamed.
“Anyone here”
Then I heard something playing. It was a guitar, my favorite instrument. I followed the sound and then I spotted some lights. The sound was so much closer. I walked in deeper and saw a tent and the trees were decorated, fire was burning but no one was there. I walked closer to the tent and then I felt something fell on me. I looked up and saw a bucketful of rose petals starting to fall me. The only people who knew that I love roses were Imli and suraj. I knew who did all this. It had to be Suraj. I started to enjoy all this. I started dancing while the petals fell. Then I saw someone come. I knew it was Suraj so I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged me back.
“Chakor, I love you so much” Suraj said.
I felt my heartbeat rise as he said that.
“I love you too” I said strongly.
When I said that he broke the hug and took me in his hands and entered the tent. He laid me on the mattress carefully. He sat down and came closer to my face. I knew his intentions so I pushed him and sat up.
“Excuse me, but I belong from a traditional family where we don’t do all this unless we are married” I said.
His face slipped in to a pout. I laughed at his expression and leaned closer to him and put my arms lightly around his shoulders. I rested my head on his shoulder.
“I am sorry, you’ll have to wait” I said.
“I should have done all this preparation after two or three months”
I sat up seriously.
“What do you mean? After 2 or 3 months”
“Marriage after 2 or 3 months” Suraj said.
“Are you kidding me?”
“Nope”
“I am not getting married that soon. I am only 18 and you are only 19”
“oh, come on!! It is one of my dad’s conditions”
