Esha Kansara, who was last seen in Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana is all set to essay a different avatar as she makes a comeback in Maddam Sir. For the unversed, the actress was a part of the show in 2020 and is now re-entering the show.
According to the reports, Esha will be essaying the role of Misri Pandey and will be seen as the parallel lead to Maddam Sir aka Haseena Malik. The actress is expected to commence the shoot from today.
During a recent interview, Esha shared her excitement about joining the show and said, “It feels great to be back on Maddam Sir, my first stint on this show was back in 2020. I’ve always shared a very cordial relationship with the makers and the wonderful cast. My role as Misri Pandey, contradicting the name, my character adds its own spice to the ongoing drama and narrative.”
Talking about her character in the show, she revealed, “Maddam Sir is a very unique and special show based on women police and one of the main reasons being a major focus on the female cast. As a character, Misri is not really a negative character, yet she has her own shades of boldness a little sly and she’s always looking to gain something for herself in every situation.She is almost like a female version of Chulbul Pandey. Hemant our Director helped me a lot to bring in different elements in my character as Misri. I personally love this show too and it feels amazing to be part of it once again.”
Maddam Sir also features Gulki Joshi as the female protagonist and actresses Yukti Kapoor, Bhavika Sharma, and Sonali Naik in pivotal roles.
