“Is he alive?…”
Author’s POV:-
Ishani: I had heard the voice somewhere but didn’t remember where.
Ishani said and everyone looked at each other.
Kabir: Anything else, which he said?
She shook her head in no hearing his question.
Angre: I think that person is keeping an eye either around her or on her because how he got to know that someone was around her.
Angre said gaining everyone’s attention.
Vansh: No if he was keeping an eye on us then he must have told her that we are listening to her but he didn’t that means he don’t know anything about us.
Vansh said thinking.
Riddhima: No, right now that’s not important. Important is whom he is going to kill?
Riddhima said and looked at everyone thinking deeply.
Aryan: Arjun, even Sejal had threatened you by his name.
They looked around and then at Riddhima. Listening to Aryan she was getting panicked.
Vansh: But why? What had Arjun done to anyone?
Vansh asked and looked at Riddhima trying to calm her down.
Angre: Aryan is right, according to me. Veer bhai was an Interpol officer, so he must be having enmity with many and might be they had planted Sejal in our lives to extract information about us. But when now Veer bhai and Ruchi aren’t with us now then they can easily do whatever they had wish for.
Angre said the words easily but the words which was looking to be said easily was going through everyone’s heart piercing it.
Vansh: But what will they get by killing him? Arjun is just a kid, Angre.
Vansh said and sat on the bed.
Angre: For us, might be he is anyhow useful to them.
He said and that was enough to break her calmness.
Riddhima: Shut up, just shut up. I’m not going to let anything happen to him. You all know what, leave from here. Right now.
She yelled at him. Giving them a blink, Vansh asked them to leave. He went to her and before he could make her calm down.
Riddhima: How easily you can say that they can kill him? How?
She said and held his collar. He looked at her face, she was crying.
Riddhima: How? You know Vansh, before being Veer bhai and Ruchi bhabhi’s child. He was with us, dammit he is close to us. You said that you will let them kill my child. Seriously?
She shouted at him. He tried to calm her down but she wasn’t any mood to listen to him.
Vansh: Riddhima, I was telling it logically. Arjun is even my child. How can I think like this about him?
Vansh said and held her hand which was on his collar. He slowly pulled her into a hug caressing her back to calm her down.
Riddhima: Leave about you Vansh, if anyone in this world think about killing my child. I’ll kill them into damn many pieces.
She said and clutched his shirt weeping into it.
Vansh: Definitely. Nothing will happen, until we are with him.
She hugged him tightly trying to calm her racing heart down.
Riddhima: I love you.
She said trying to calm herself by listening to him. He let out a chuckle getting her point.
Vansh: I love you too.

Coming to the hall, Sejal saw everyone sitting at different places. Wiping her sweat she moved to kitchen. Riddhima saw her and taking her time followed her silently.
Riddhima: This time, I will get to know who is that bastard, who is thinking to kill my family members?
She said to herself and peeped in the kitchen as she saw Sejal drinking water. Her eyes landed on her phone which was clutched in her grip.
Riddhima: What the hell? She can’t even keep it on the table. No one is going to steal it. She is holding it like it’s her love of the life.
She said and saw as she was coming out. Hiding herself behind the pillar she saw her moving out.
As soon as Sejal came out, she saw again and frowned on not finding Riddhima.
Sejal: Where is Riddhima?
She asked and all looked at each other.
Kabir: Why? Why you want to know about her?
He asked making her angry. She left from there without answering him. Riddhima silently came out and left from there ignoring their calls.
Coming in front of their rooms, she saw as Sejal moved to the closet. On seeing her busy in the closet choosing her dress. Riddhima went in and hid herself under the bed bruising her arms due to sudden force. On hearing her hiss, Sejal turned around and looked around to see if anyone is here or not.
Riddhima: Vansh…Save me please.
Thinking so she dialed to Vansh from under the bed. As soon as Vansh picked up.
Riddhima: Vansh, please save me. I’m in our room.
Riddhima said and before he could say anything she disconnected the call making him panic. Climbing two stairs at a time, he rushed to his room.
Looking from outside, he saw Riddhima hiding under the bed. He looked at Sejal who was checking if someone is there. Mentally hitting his head, he went in.
Vansh: Sejal…
He said gaining her attention. But except passing him an hmm, she didn’t bothered to look at him.
Vansh: What are you looking for?
He asked and she kept her phone on the table, moving to the closet.
Sejal: Nothing, I just heard some kind of sound but now I guess I was just hallucinating. Why are you asking about me?
He looked around trying to find a kind of reply.
Vansh: Can you make something for me?
He asked and she looked back at him, giving him a shocked face.
Sejal: Me?
She asked on which he nodded.
Sejal: Are you sure?
She asked and he felt as if she is going to catch him.
Vansh: Yaa, actually Ishani had went out with Aryan and Siya is with Arjun.
He said and he looked at her.
Sejal: But as far as I know you know how to cook. Then?
Sejal said and came in front of him.
Vansh: Actually I haven’t cooked for 5 years so? You know.
He said giving her a reason and she left from there. Riddhima came out and smacked his shoulders harshly.
Riddhima: You had never asked me to cook for you.
She said making him frown but then seeing her bruises on her hands, he glared at her angrily.
Vansh: You come with me, we need to talk.
He said and caught the hold of her hand. He was about to pull her out, when she saw Sejal’s phone kept on the table.
Riddhima: Vansh, Sejal’s phone. Two minute.
She said and removing his hold went there. He followed her.
Picking up her phone, a smile crept on Riddhima’s face. She smiled at Vansh as if she had caught that person. Opening the screen, she swaps and frowns as she looks at the password.
Vansh: Who doesn’t keep password in 2021?
He asked and she passed him a sad look. Keeping back the phone, he pulled her out of the room while she sadly followed him.
When suddenly he pulled her hand and holding her tightly by her waist pasted there body close to each other while her was pasted to the wall. She looked up at him and he cupped her mouth. As he heard she saw Sejal entering.
Closing her eyes, she looks aside afraid to be caught. Sejal looks around and frowns on not finding but then thinking him to be in washroom she shrugs of her thoughts and taking her phone left from there.
Vansh looked at Riddhima who was looking away closing her eyes. He moved closer to her making her feel as if Sejal was going to see them. Squeezing her eyes shut, she didn’t bothered to look away.
Vansh: Riddhima, she is coming.
He said and saw her getting more nervous. Mentally chuckling, he looked at her condition. She entangling there hand together she kept mumbling few words to herself.
He went closer to her to her face, entangling his other hand with his. He smelt her scent and moving to her neck started giving her wet kisses. She was shocked and pushed him. He looked at her and burst out laughing, while she looked around and didn’t found anyone.
Vansh: Ohk fine…I was just kidding with you. Come, we need to talk.
He said and pulled her out with him. Entering in their room, he latched the door and stood in front of her giving her a questioning look.
Riddhima: What?
He looked and came closer to her and see feeling him not breaking his gaze from her got nervous and moved back.
Riddhima: I…I didn’t do anything. I’m completely innocent this time.
She said and just when she felt something hitting on her leg before she could see what it was she fell down on the bed and he didn’t supported her. As soon as she composed herself and was about to get up, he entangled her right leg with his and stopped her from getting up using any support. She looked at him as he leaned closer to her face.
Vansh: What did I asked you yesterday?
He asked and his words were very less audible to him as their close proximity was effecting her in a bad way. It wasn’t like they were this close ever but his mood swings were beyond her understandings. Just now he was laughing with her and see now.
Vansh: Riddhima…
He asked making her come out of her thoughts of reverie. She looked away not meeting his gaze just when he removed the force he was using till now to stand leaning to her and instead fell over her.
Vansh: What did I asked you yesterday?
He asked again and feeling his weight on her. She looked at him and slightly raised her eyebrows. He held her hand in his hold and brought his face close to her neck.
Vansh: Last night only, that unknown person said that he will kill someone. Right? And if anyhow in that plan she harmed you then?
She heard him and her breath hitched when he bit her earlobe lightly. She clutched his shoulder and a moan escaped her lips.
Riddhima: Vansh…
As she said he kissed her there slowly sucking it soothing her pain. Suddenly he hugged her tightly, before she could hug him back. She heard his slow sob which wasn’t anyhow audible. Bringing his face in front of her, she broke the hug to find him crying.
Riddhima: Why are you crying?
She asked panicking and wiped his tears.
Vansh: Don’t leave me ever.
She hugged him tightly burying her face in his chest as tears easily came out from her eyes.
Riddhima: Vansh, now I won’t leave you ever.
She said sobbing lightly. He hugged her tightly.

At midnight, all alone Ishani peeped in Sejal’s room to see scrolling through her phone. Ishani looked at her hand and a smirk came on her lips.
Ishani: Now I have hacked her phone, and can easily get to know whom she was talking.
She went in as soon as Sejal entered in the washroom. Opening the phone, she unlocked it as she had earlier saw her typing the password. After completing her work, she closed it and left from the room safely without coming in Sejal’s doubt list.
Entering in her room, Ishani saw Aryan sleeping hugging the pillow. She took a deep breath and checked her other phone. Keeping it aside, she got in the duvet. She felt Aryan hugging her and pulling her closer to him due to which she wasn’t able to look at her phone.
His grip tightened on her as soon as he felt her moving aside.
Aryan: Ishani, what are you doing?
He asked and snuggled his face in her neck. She panicked as she know none of them is aware that she had learnt hacking from Veer in Paris. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath.
Ishani: Just a minute, Aryan.
She said and he removed his grip on her. Moving to the vanity, she took out the ear pods and connecting it with the phone waited for either Sejal or that person to call her back.
Aryan: What were you doing?
He asked and getting up looked at her face.
Ishani: Nothing, I was thirsty.
She said and he smiling closed his eyes again. Taking a deep breath, she looked back at the phone.

Riddhima looked at the corridor. She looked around to see if someone was there or not.
Riddhima: I know last night, before Vansh had arrived someone else was also here. But who can be? Sejal was in her room, then?
She got in, opening the flashlight of her phone she looked around and saw a door. Moving there, she tried to push it and the door flicked open, taking a deep breath got in only to meet with darkness.
Roaming her hands on the wall, she searched for some kind of switch to open it. When she felt a tug on her hand and her phone fell. She got scared, and tried to calm down herself and again started searching for switches. She closed her eyes as soon as something soft came under her fingers, she moved her hands to feel something rough now.
Voice: If it’s done, then may I open the lights now?
She said and got scared with sudden voice, and suddenly the lights turned on. Keeping her hands on her eyes, she waited for her vision to get clear.
As soon as she saw Vansh in front of her with a smile on his lips. She wanted to shout at him for scaring her like that but just when her eyes fell on the room’s decoration. She looked all around to see the decoration. He smiled and coming close to her hugged her from behind nuzzling his nose in her neck.
Vansh: Happy 5th Anniversary sweetheart.
Craning her neck, she looked at him with teary eyes as she didn’t remember about this at all. She turns around and looks at him.
Riddhima: I’m sorry. I completely forgot about today.
She said and hugged him tightly which he broke. He looked at her face and kissed away her tears. And turning her around back hugged her.
Vansh: Now you did a crime and for criminals, they need punishment and your punishment is that for the first time you will initiate the kiss and will propose me in the way I can get convinced.
He said and she frowned on hearing him and turning around held his hand, keeping it on her waist she looked up at him. She moved close to his lips and she saw him smirking. As she was about to put her lips on his and kiss him, she moved away and again turned.
Riddhima: So Vansh, what’s surprise?
Vansh who was still waiting for her opened his eyes to look at her. He closed his eyes frustrated.
Vansh: I’ll tell you, but what about your punishment?
He asked and she kept her hands on her mouth to control her laugh then taking a deep breath looked at him.
Riddhima: Vansh, you didn’t told the time when I have to fulfill that punishment. So I have whole day, don’t worry about that.
She said and saw him smirking.

Ishani opened her eyes as soon as she felt sensation in her ears, looking at the clock she saw it was 1 am. Clicking on the Bluetooth, she waited for one of them to say anything. Taking a deep breath, she removed Aryan’s hold from her waist and sat with the support of bed post.
Sejal: What do I need to do now?
She heard Sejal asking that person. Ishani took a deep breath.
Voice: Do I need to tell you, just 3 days more. Either you kill him or send her to me.
Ishani held her head as soon as she remembered whose voice it was.
Sejal: Are you mad? How can you ask me to kill him, for god sake he is a child and that too yours stop being so heartless.
She said and Ishani closed her mouth. Holding her head she rubbed her temples sweating badly.
Ishani: Veer bhai is alive.
