Date??
Author’s POV:-
Vansh looked at Sejal who was walking in front of him looking around. Taking a deep breath, he moves to her and blindfolded her. Although she knew it was Vansh but his actions were shocking her.
Sejal: Vansh, what are you doing?
She asked and felt him holding her wrist lightly, she was about to take it back when she felt him pulling her with him. While moving she felt her leg was hitting something soft again and again. Smell of flowers was filling her nostril. There was no sound except of the natural feeling of cold wind hitting their faces.
After a while, he stopped and moving to her opened her blindfold by gently pulling one of the side of it. Sejal blinked her eyes to clear the vision and after it was done she saw the decorated area in front of her. She was shocked to see that it completely looking like a date night.
Turning back she looked at him giving him a confused look while she saw trying to smile.
Sejal: Why are we here?
She asked and he didn’t give any response. Turning around Sejal looked back again to see it was far away from either city or it’s some nearby deserted area about which very less people are aware of. She was clearly able to hear her heart beating fast across her ribs. As soon as the song made it entry in her ears she closed her eyes to calm herself down. He held her hand.
Kabhi jo baadal barse
Main dekhoon tujhe aankhein bharke
Tu lage mujhe pahli baarish ki duaa
Twirling her around, he pulled her to him. She looked at him trying to stop him but he was so fast in his moves that her words were not able to come out of her. He smirked seeing her tensed face.
Tere pahloo mein reh loon
Main khudko paagal keh loon
Tu gham de ya khushiyaan
Seh loon saathiya
She craning her head looked at his face. Bringing his hands to her waist, he lifted her up and saw her teary eyes. He felt bad not knowing why she was crying but as right now everyone’s safety was there first priority he preferred to go on with the plan.
Kabir looks in through the binoculars to see them dancing. Keeping back the binoculars, he looks at the blank road in front of him.
Riddhima: What? Did Vansh gave her that drink?
He looked at her and shook his head.
Kabir: They are dancing.
She knew Vansh must have planned everything well. But the insecurity, it was another thing.
Riddhima: Come, we’ll look from the back gate.
She said and before he could say anything came out of the car. Looking around, she hugged herself as the chilled weather was caressing her body gently. Coming to the back gate of the lawn area, she peeped in and saw Vansh making her sit on the chair.
As Vansh made her sit on the chair, she looked at him and then around the area.
Sejal: Why are we here Vansh? I want to go back.
She said in a low voice which wasn’t able to Riddhima and Kabir.
Vansh: I just brought you here for a date night. After all you are my wife.
He said in a bit loud voice and smirked as he saw Riddhima listening to them.
Sejal: There wasn’t any need.
Turning back to Sejal, he passed her a smile and picking up a glass of juice forwarded it to her.
Vansh: Drink this and we’ll go back.
She nodded and grabbing the glass, started sipping. He looked at her and picking up another glass drank it. As they saw her drinking the juice and keeping the glass back on the table.
Sejal: May we leave now.
Vansh looked at them and then not knowing how to stop her nodded. He saw her as she got up and was about to move when again she sat back holding her head. Vansh taking a sign of relief sat in front of her on his knees.
Vansh: What happened?
She looked at him and again held her head.
Sejal: Don’t know why my head is spinning.
Sejal said and closed her eyes.
Vansh: Who do you love the most?
He asked suddenly trying to test whether she was lying or acting.
Sejal: Kabir obviously and you know Vansh I even know that you were lying that day Kabir and I got married and You and Riddhima.
He opened closed his mouth trying to believe what she said was true. As they saw her completely under the effect of serum they came out and sat around her.
Riddhima: Sejal, what else you know?
She asked and saw Sejal thinking looking up at the sky.
Kabir: Sejal tell…
Kabir asked again on not getting any response from her.
Sejal: Kabir, you know you are an idiot. That day when we were in Darjeeling. I was the one who threw you in the pool and you were blaming Aryan.
She said laughing and Kabir looked at her shocked. After a long time, he heard her laughter.
Vansh: Sejal, What else you know?
She looked at him and blinked her eyes.
Sejal: I know that you love Riddhima and you were the one who planned all these games from 5 years.
She said and crossing her arms around her chest sat straight.
Sejal: That’s wrong you both destroyed my hard work. Well don’t worry I’m happy that you did after all I got married to my Kabir.
She said smiling and hugged Kabir tightly. Kabir smiling hugged her after feeling her close to him.
Sejal: I missed you soooo much.
She said shouting in his eardrums.
Kabir: I missed you too. But leave all that, why you did all this?
She breaking the looked at him and kissed on his forehead.
Sejal: I love you soo much.
She said and again hugged him.
Kabir: I love you too Sejal.
He said and again hugged her back.
Vansh: Kabir, please ask her.
He asked and Kabir broke the hug.
Kabir: Sejal, why you did all this? I mean 5 years back you blackmailed Riddhima? Why?
She looked at him with teary eyes and sat back straight.
Sejal: I did all that for you all only but you all got angry from me. Even Riddhima didn’t trusted me. Why?
She looked at Riddhima.
Riddhima: Sejal, don’t worry we are together. Right? For whom you did all this?
Riddhima said and held her hand.
Sejal: Woah he asked me to do this. You know Aryan and Ishani are there only…….
Before she could complete the lights went off darkening the whole area.
Vansh: I’ll look after this.
Saying so he moved from there. Kabir got up holding her hand and was about to hug her to calm her down when she fell on him.
After a while, when the lights came back Kabir saw Sejal hugging him tightly while holding his hand.
Kabir: Sejal, I’m here don’t worry.
He said and caressed her hairs when he felt something wet around her scalp. Touching the area slowly he brought his hand to his face. He was shocked to see blood and sitting in front of her he made her sit straight, removing the hairs from her head he saw blood dripping.
Kabir: Vansh, blood…
As soon he heard there footsteps coming close to him, he turned around and looked at him. Picking her up in his arms, Kabir brought her to the area where there cars were parked. Vansh opens his cars door for them.
As soon as they reached to the hospital, Kabir made her lie on the stretcher. Looking at her condition and blood all over her head, his shirt he felt miserable. Not knowing anything what had happened to her, he stood there numb.
Doctor: We are treating her, until then you do the formalities.
Vansh nodded and saw as doctor moved in the ward room to treat her. Vansh looked at Kabir who was sitting on the bed with his red shirt, he was about to move to him when he heard someone calling him. Turning around he saw a ward boy with papers.
Taking it from him, Vansh started filling the form. After half an hour, Vansh again looked at the door while Kabir was motionlessly looked at the floor, his shirts sleeves which were hung down, teary eyes. They moved to the door, as soon as the same doctor came out.
Kabir: How is she?
He asked panicking as he looked at Sejal through the mirror.
Doctor: She is alright, but how she got hurt? I mean is it a police case.
Doctor asked raising his eyebrows. Vansh looked at Kabir who didn’t have any expression.
Vansh: Actually, she was drunk and by mistake she fell down on the iron rod.
He told and saw doctor nodding at him.
Doctor: You can take her back tomorrow morning, until then she under our observation. Only one of you can stay here with here.
Doctor saying so left. Kabir moved to the doctor and peeping in saw the nurse injecting the medicine to Sejal.
Vansh: Kabir…
Kabir didn’t heard him but when he patted him twice he turned around.
Vansh: You stay here.
Kabir nodded and as the nurse came out. He entered as he saw Vansh leaving. Moving to Sejal, he sat in front of her. Keeping his head beside her, he looked at her with teary eyes.
Kabir: If you did all this for us, then couldn’t you tell it to me. I would have helped you out of it.
He said and looked up at her hand.
Kabir: You never cared to tell me about anything. Never, when you all were taking Riddhima to Paris all were aware except me as you didn’t told me. The thing which we never had in our relationship was that we never shared our problems with each other.
He said and getting back looked at her firmly.
Kabir: But now that’s it, I want all the answer from you and I know you’ll give me. There won’t be any lie from now onwards. I’ll help you out of every problems. Riddhima and Vansh will definitely understand you.
He said and kissed on her forehead. He again looked at her when something crossed his mind.
Kabir: Riddhima….
He mumbled and took out his phone. Getting tensed and with trembling fingers, he finally succeeded in dialing Vansh but there was no voice coming from the other side. Checking his phone, he looked at the screen there was no signal.
Not getting what to do, he rushed out of the ward room. Looking around he saw a nurse moving to the other room, he stopped her.
Kabir: Until and unless, I don’t come back don’t leave her alone.
Nurse nodded and moved out. Coming to the parking lot, he saw Vansh who just now started driving. He ran after him and stopped him by coming in front of his car.
Vansh looked at him shocked, as he was about to hit him. Before he could come out and move to him. He saw him running and peeping in through the mirror.
Kabir: Vansh…Riddhima??
He mumbled panting, Vansh scrunched his eyebrows and remembered she wasn’t with them when they were coming back.
Vansh: Oh no, she is missing since the light went off. How the hell I didn’t remember?
Vansh said ruffling his hands through his hairs.
Kabir: It’s not the time to repent, you leave. I’m here with Sejal for now.
Without saying a word, Vansh drove from there. While tensed Kabir moved inside the hospital. Opening the door, he saw Sejal. He was shocked to see her taking deep breath while neither doctor nor any nurse was there.
Kabir: Sejal…Doctor
He said and moving to her made her wear the oxygen mask. Hearing him screaming, one of the doctor came in and moving to her checked her pulse rate.
Doctor: She is fine now don’t worry but please be here.
She said on which Kabir nodded and saw her leaving. Sitting in front of her, he looked at her.

Vansh came back to the area, tensed he moved in. Looking around he saw the arrangements were still there and the environment. Taking out his phone, he again dialed to Riddhima hoping she would be safe.
But as nothing as response came, he grew more tensed. He was about to leave from there, when he looked at the table her phone was kept there only. Moving to it he picked it up to see it was switched off.
Angre rose to his veins when he didn’t found her in front of him.
Vansh: Where the hell is she?
He said and moved to his car, he was about to drive when his eyes fell on the car. He saw the car from which Riddhima and Kabir came there. Moving to it, he opened it and got shocked to see her lying unconscious on the back seat. Getting in, he picked her up in his arms.
He saw her eyes slightly opening but it again got closed. Riddhima relaxes on seeing him in front of her.
Vansh: Riddhima…
He said and made her sit on the chair in the lawn. Looking around, he found the water bottle. Taking it he made her drink it. He looked at her while she was gulping down the water slowly. Keeping back the bottle she held his hand.
Vansh: How are you feeling now?
He said and she blinked her eyes in affirmation.
Vansh: Who did this with you?
She panicked and looked at him with teary eyes.
Riddhima: I’m fine Vansh. It was just that I thought to come in another car and when I felt dizzy.
She said with a smile and he looked at her.
Vansh: Are you sure? Are you hiding something from me again?
She shook her head in no and he hugged her.
Vansh: Come, let’s go. You must be tired.
Saying so he saw her getting up and she stumbled. Lifting her up, he smiled at her and kissed on her cheeks. Nuzzling close to his chest she hugged him tightly. Getting in the car, he made her sit on his lap and saw her smiling. Adjusting her in his lips, he asked her to rest. Nuzzling to his neck she hugged him tightly with a smile on her lips.
She loved to be close to him, his heart. But every time something or the other happens that they had to get separated but the separation even had limits and that limit is now over. She won’t let anyone come again in between them.
Looking at his face, she saw his focusing on the road. Smiling she closed her eyes with a determination to fix everything soon.
Riddhima: I love you…
He heard her and looking down saw her eyes closed with a smile on her lips. He moved close to her lips and pecked before mumbling a good night.
